Oh come all we need is an impulse relaunch to go with a sins relaunch. That sale still makes me sad, not that I blame Stardock in anyway, you have an IP and someone wants to pay you an absurd amount of money for, why not sell. Game stop just destroyed it in every way one could've imagined. Oh well, old wounds and all. Honestly excited for a lot, already played the alpha a bit and chomping down for multiplayer. Sins was a great game and I have many memories of the

i am sorry i have to agree. there is a lot of stuff i hate about steam and i am a bit peeved that i now have to have my forged alliance go through steam. and don't tell me i haven't tried steam enough. it is because of the items i have through steam that i bear my dislike of steam. now i have and still buy ocationally through steam mainly things that are at least 75% off or more to be worth me putting up with steam. But the fact that something i

Tormy- just wondering have you bought something else from stardock becasue you have a member number that is a little more dated then elemental...though doesn't nessarly mean anything, stardock does a number of other programs besides games, in fact if i remember correctly games is almost like a side business to stardock, or at least not their bread and butter also i wonder if i count as four members because i bought one multi-player game 4 tim

i do know that AoW had leaders and when the leaders died it was the end of the game so most of the time we would play without the leaders so that one death wouldn't cause a game loss. from a single player point of veiw the sov death= end game would not be so bad because you could load if you like to. but in a multilayer standpoint it could cause alot of fuss over one battle or one mistake. on the concept of not losing your sov you could have a tech that you build

i agree, the quests and combat should give you exp. however if they really wanted to try something i think it would be cool if you had other areas of exp, like we have of research. i mean my wiz that is back at my capital researching spells should level up his spell capability while the farmer should get some exp for his str and farming, ect. though there is the thing from age of wonders that i did like, where the heroes gained 1 exp per day. that way if the hero wasn'

Just a few questions before i start looking to make an NPC does NPC Talent value go down as well as up and what is the highest on average we can expect to see in a game. so say if i wanted to make an NPC that always shows late game but only if the game has escalated enough so i make the NPC talent Value 200 and the spawn 1000 would that do the trick? and from what it appears the stronger the NPC the higher the Talent value should be. &nb

honestly i think the UB should be nurfed. i don't think any demi should be able to hit for 8k+ on a normal hit. and i was able to pull that off at level 21 with the UB, with his beast rage maxed a few decent +weapon dmg and the rage braclet that increases weapon dmg by 300%

the creeps from a dead general should just become mindless normal creeps having lost their commander

is it going to be anything like age of wonders, i still love the original game. one of the best fantasy turn based strategy IMHO though i guess you didn't say turn based, i just remember that from somewhere. Though i know it will be good comming from where it is. look forword to it

i think it would be cool to have the creeps of the general be promoted like c&c did, but less units that way if you were a good general you could build powerful creeps, and the creeps would be as strong as your commanding ablity. but also think a general should have at least minimal control personally maximum would be better but balancing does come in greatly.

i got stuck again but it wasn't just at the crystal, this time it was the enemy stronghold once again right after i turned back to ice. the video is short becasue i was low on heath and decided to run at that point. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDfjUIVrIns at least this time i died so i could actully move again but when i was stuck at my crystal i was unable to cast anything exsept the spells that c

i am well aware of the computer doing this, but at one point while i was playing as the torch bearer i ran to the crystal to regen and became stuck. of course i was to far away to buy a tele scroll or anything but gloves. and for the rest of the game my char just ran towards the crystal when i gave a move order or anything. if this has already been said oh well, i just don't remember reading about it.
