Good ideas...the best one being the carrior idea and the max amount of planes on it! I aggree its ridiculous how itll just pop more and more up! Adding a resource cost to creating strike crafts instead of AM could help make this more realistic ;)

I created one! Simple really...and a fully customisable timer set to the time you want to allow your empire. How to make: Basically what you want to do is use repair droids and change the hull regen to -1/sec and make it target the caster! And voila! Yes they do but the vessels they drop are exactly that VESSELS aka Frigates! To my knowledge it is not possible to have them spawn buildings (though I never attempted)!

Means the mod file is in another folder of itself...so the game recognises the changes as you say but since its "one step further" instead of having Modname ---> gameinfo....you have modname---folder---gameinfo. Game bumps on that!

AWESOME! As for your post about cheating! I personnaly DONT! (unless I'm playing GTA in which case I want MAX CARNAGE)...but I enjoy playing a game in hardest settings and hardest difficulty (I LIVE FOR CHALLENGES) so I never use them (ruins the point ;))

Only issue I suspect is finding a way to generate Cover areas (ie. ships cant hit anything behind it without manoueuvering) apart from that...I have a good idea, howe to make a sins version of FPS ;)
