If you mean to a different star system, you have to research the required tech in the civ tree. It is usually like the 5th tier or so. It will allow you to jump from one star to another. Then just send your fleet and/or colonizers to the new system and work your way out from the star. (send scouts first, so you know where to go) To get to the new system, you have to select your ships, then direct them to the NEW star. From there, they will automatically go to your system's star, and t

Does anybody know if there is a hotkey which can be used to reset the camera to a preset distance and bearing? It sure would be handy. When viewing the system, I like to have it facing the same way, so I can easily see where I am. During battles, I move the camera around all over the place, and I would love to be able to just hit a key to reallign the camera after battles.

The black market screen was originally the only way to buy/sell. The buttins on the main UI came later. BTW, anybody else find that you can't select ships, planets, etc. when they are in the top right corner, near the black market buttons? Its kind of like a dead space around it. I usually have to move the screen over a bit to be able to select items that are a little too close to those buttons.

Really? Fleet upkeep comes out of trades? I never knew that. So if I give my teamate credits/resources, does it take out my upkeep % or my teamates upkeep %? Is there somewhere where it shows you how much he actually got from you, or do you just do the math in your head?

I totally agree with these posts. I personally have around 50% games completed, if that. It has nothing to do with not wanting losses, its just the fact that for every game I end up completing, there are 3 other games that got lagged out, too many ppl quit, or ended in a minidump. Not to mention the games where i got rushed, yet didn't want to surrender due to not wanting to screw my teamates with dead AI. I really hope a solution can be found to this. I think probably

"Get rid of win loss stats altogther replace it with Hours spent playing the game.." I don't know. THat might lead to people dragging out the games well after a winner is obvious, just to increase playing time. And we all know that can be annoying.

I know cap abilities can interrupt, but I think I heard somewhere that strikecraft can interrupt as well. Not sure if it is true. What are the various ways to interrupt these sorts of abilities?

Astrath is talking about the term "any given sunday". It means any team can win in any given day, no matter how tough their opponent is. That's why you hear of "upsets". Think of it this way, the better team might sustain critical injuries in the beginning of the game, thereby allowing a better opportunity for the underdog. Or the wind might be blowing in their favor, or they have homefield advantage. There are many variables like that. That is what he means, and he is right, as any o

Yes, it is frustrating when that happens, but it adds a level of randomness to the game. If every map were precisely symetrical, then the better player would ALWAYS win, the lesser player would ALWAYS lose, and there would really be no fun because it would be the same, cokkie-cutter strategy every single game. I do see what you are saying. Sometimes, it is very crippling, but it is pretty rare that you start in a situation that will ensure your loss from the beginning. (I actually pla

I played four games or so with [_]aggroed this weekend, and I never saw anything that would lead me to believe this is true. Can't speak about the rest of the clan, but [_]aggroed is actually a very fair and fun player. This has lead me to the following colnclusion... I will never play a game with SnoopDaggo.

That's easy. The great communication between IC and the gamers. I mean, no matter what kind of game you have developed, the communication and feedback from the devs is a sure bet that you will be successful. And there is simply no better example of this than Sins.

LOL. Well you know, how it is. Trying to bring about the apocolypse constantly eats up a lot of my time. To be honest, I have tried to stay away from MMO games. Was addicted to Evercrack back when I was in high school and it was popular. Lost a lot of sleep.... and a few girlfriends.

Hmmm, you know what would be sweet? A space-based MMORPG. Instead of a character, you could have a ship. Group with other players to form fleets, fly through space, terrorize other ships. Or stay lone, become a space pirate. Level up and acquire upgrades for your ship. Could be cool... I see the potential.

"And it looks like a weird shoe." LOL. Great ship, looks dumb. I always thought the colonizer caps should have heavy, heavy defense, and little offense. It just seems like it would make more sense. You don't build colonizers for battle. Also, they die so quickly when caught in a bad spot. I just think they should be able to take a lot of hurtin, just to be able to last. Armor/shields up, guns down. (I don
