True, I know the game updated a couple of times since last time I got it to load successfully. I did try installing that redist and restarting etc, didn't seem to make any difference to the error message that I get .
Sadly this is new - I last played in January 2024 I believe and the game ran perfectly. Now in March I have this issue; have tried reinstalling the game and deleting temp files etc. My hardware hasn't changed since then, just usual windows and graphics driver updates.
I'm having the same issue with Sins 2 - neither test edition or regular will load for me from the epic store with the same error: Deleting the folder appdata folder doesnt make a difference, no log gets generated to review. Running windows 11, latest nvidia drivers etc.

Awesome work so far, great looking mod with some very nice touches. My main question for this release is about the differences between ships defined as 'capital' and ships that arent. For instance the galaxy class federation ship has two versions, one has a distinctly higher quality texture than the other - the lower quality one looks somewhat washed out.
