Also, if I build all my trade ports on one planet, will that do anything? I seem to recall noticing I was still getting income in a game where I only had one port.

Does building more than one (say, five) broadcast centers have any additional effect? Will more trade ports increase my income?

I've tried having either side host and it doesn't work.

Is it possible to install this game on two computers and then connect them via LAN and play with a friend without purchasing an additional copy?
