I don't see, why they do change something here and there, but give us no sliders to set the value we prefer. I for my part tested the ridiculous mode (one harder than hard) and i was spammed with low friggs on nearly every planet i conquered. Because i play with pirates enabled, we were bidding like hell and it lost almost all of them. But after a few minutes, pirates were friend of it and so i got them all. The weird thing on Hard is atm, the money of the npc is going to nowere. I have a replay (but do not know how to upload it to here), were because of the DLC the npc got hit and all of his population of his main planet was killed, he had a income from 0,7 credits (he had two not upgraded planets). Reduced my stars at impuls carefully to two as warning for others to wait with buying, until this things are fixed so this became playable. Because of the unbelievable pirates (which should be tuneable, otherwise the game is not playable), the content changed for me, only to bet on this guys to get them attacked the AI-player, nothing is left to enjoy me this part of the game... So hopefully waiting on, as the hope dies at last.

As i wrote in an other thread, i am not happy with this combination of amor (more than 42) and range. If pirates are able to have this without research center, what i should have, with a lot of them? So this is unbeleavable, the story broken. So the pirates will die for me and be disabled.

I think, the range plus the amor over 42 is a little bit unpirate like. Because i play it without the diplomacy part, using fixed teams, my fleet has a max of 12 amor. But i have research-center, not the pirates. Because i played on a middle sized map, i had a limit of fleet-size and to fear my foes, i was not able to harm them. So i don't belief you this game part any more.
