It comes with version 1.00 on the disk and a Steam key so you still need to go through steam but yeah. There isn't anything interesting in the case besides the cd key and disk. Thats exactly what i want. Send it to meeeeee Why the f do they have

Yeah, there is a hard copy version, at least in Australia. I'll post a picture later.
I'll second this. The AI, on hard at least, make pretty liberal use of PJIs. Especially if there is a starbase present.
I have found the AI to be a fair bit less dangerous. I have played a couple of games verses hard AI and they have not been of any consequence. I was playing a game with myself and a hard AI (Advent Loyalist) against three hard AI (Two Vasari Rebels and a TEC Loyalist). After about the hour mark and fending off one medium sized combined assault from two of the enemy AI, they went completely into remission and nothing more than a scout could be seen outside their borders (with
I second this, at least with the wormholes. Forces seem to stall at the edge of the centre (if that makes sense) of a wormhole and will not traverse through it. The research has been performed. Seems like a bug to me.
Normally I'd tell you that if you don't like part of something included, mod the parts you don't like out yourself because the vast majority of people do like it in. However!
Thanks. I suppose a better question would be how much work would go into removing the effects? Should I just replace the modded files with the originals? Or would it be a little more indepth than that?
Hey guys, wondering if it's possible to not use Balknights graphics mod with Rebellion? While the Vasari effects are awesome, the rest don't really do it for me. Besides that, awesome mod, played it to death on Diplomacy. Thanks!
Okay. So turn off the stronger pirates mod? This only effects the pirates, right? *edit* Also, what are these flagships i hear about?
I seem to be getting a mini dump in game when pirates are launched in my current game. I am using the pirates mini-mod that came with the .99 release i downloaded about 3 days ago. Whenever i get up to the point of the first departing of pirates it crashes ( i have tried three times and it has crashed at this same time each time). My graphics are all set to very high except the bumpmapping which is on high. How do you want me to send the dmp file?
Or you could be a man and not spam bombers. Your enemies are only as strong as you want them to be, remember.
well i dont think they need an expansion for that, it seems like it could be done through a patch. and what was #3? anyway with anyluck we'll see moving turrets, since the nextgen gfx cards are coming soon (with ati's out/ close to release) most ppl shouldnt have a problem with moving turrets.
I would actually come buckets of that was implemented. Sins can never look to good!
Yeah i am talking about a public school but really. Once those hormones kick in privat school or not there will be much high then teen rated stuff going on.
Heh. My brother and I don't talk too much about this game to our parents. We're plenty old enough, but just look at the title of the game. And with the Advent being an obvius parody on organized religion, my parents would appreciate it less, not mentioning the obvious technologies like "divination". My Dad was even offended by the evil-sounding Vasari voices, so I turned them off temporarily, until I realized how much of a disadvantage it was. And

The Event Horizon. Do i win yet?
You guys realise that Starwars: Empire At War had bodies floating out of there ships (i think...) Also i think its rather pointless attempting to shelter children from such things, what do you think happens at school? Swearing, Racism, Swearing, Sexism, Racism then a little more swearing. Seriously what do you think was on everyones mouth when GTA4 was released however long ago? GTA4 ofcourse. You know what happens inclass on occasion when people go to a pod (com
The ESRB is an industry voluntary organisation that helps the industry avoid government intervention. "Sticking it to the man!" in this case is counter productive, if you deliberately undermine the ESRB you risk laws coming in to place that are more than likely harsher to video game enthusiasts so rage against the machine isn't going to help anyone. Censorship is often unnecessary, age regulation

I personaly think floating bodies would be cool and you wouldent really think it would effect the rating... The way the article made it sound (in my opinoun) was that they had removed something rather large and am curoius as to what it would be.
I read that there were things that stired up the ESRB. Do any of you guys (or gals) know what these were? Are there plans on implementing them in the future? The article is here: http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3173256 (its near then end) Sorry if this was allready coverd, if it was can you give me the link instead? Thanks, Kais246
It turns out im using 1.0.5 i suppose that would be the problem :P
im running 1.5 I will put them all to max and have a closer look (i have befor but i lagged a bit :P) Thanks
I have seen the pics on this site and they dont seem to match up with the graphics ingame! Is it just my imagination or is there something to it? Thanks kais246
