Games costs money to make. I'm so surprised. Having a small number is harder to balance.

"I think what might be better is if the mines disappeared after say 120 sec." No that would be bad, I i think you should be able to stack them. if you can't, then what's the point of having an item that reviels invis stuff. I think you should be able to place the mines closer together if you aim att your feet for better stacking considering how heavy the focus on health is with the like what, 70% of the items gives health? (not counting the favor point items)
Yes it's the same for me. The one with chance for 50% more attack speed. And some more but now i forgot them.
Multi lvl map isn't supported by the engine. Aka to lazy to fix. Just modify the engine.
Leveled terrain was something they were to lazy to implement i heard. Ai issues so they just dropped the ball i mean decided not to do it. What will happen after they are killed? Can you still take over the gold? Do they get more workers after a while when ther're killed or do you buy more?
Still not all have a handy interupt. I think a dota style potion would be neat. Heal over 6 sec or something and interupted by dmg.
How about not being able to hit anything but still be able to use your skills and control your minons? And in this 10sec mode you insta-use your summon skills. Edit: Cooldown still applies of course. Also maybe he could become a living totem that summons spirits. So he has something to work with. And as to not make the skill useless all his skills refreshes and mana get restored. Otherwise he won't be able to do anything since he probably already used his summon skill before he
It would be cool if stardock got one of those up and running for the testers? Every one could use it when they're playing the game if they wanted. What do you think? Edit: I know it's easy to find a random one but then there will be to many gents in diffrent vents.
9. Selection issues (known) I don't know if this is what you mean but there's a bug with the shops. If you select it and then close it you can't select it again unless you move a bit.
On the note of seeing more information i think you should be able to see what item your opponents have.
Unlike most games where users try to open up router ports and port forward to a particular machine, Demigod is using Impulse Reactor's CVP (Common Virtual Platform). What this does is have the Impulse cloud take care of setting up multiplayer games. This means not having to open ports, it lets people in college dorm rooms play each other as well as others on-line, and eliminates all kinds of other hassles normally associated with PC multiplayer games. Yay. Does this mean that y
Why can't you make a great game out of 8 heroes? Why would being a decent game be the limit? Please explain your reasoning.
I'll compare it too a game called Super smash bros. melee. It's a fighter game with 24 nintendo characters. It came out like seven years ago and i still think it's a great game. A game with alot less characters, let's say 10, would have the flaw that those 14 heroes that somebody liked does not exist a
This i agree with. "I want to take part in Demigod Tournaments where people are more my standard of play", but the rest is just plain wrong "and I get rewarded equally to that of the Hardcore players." So like, I want all that guy gets from winning by training and doing his best but i don't want to actually work for it so if you would just give me the prize that would be cool? For all who's being cursed for being noobs, i feel with you. It happned to me
First of all, Jinx post=win Second, We or at least I don't need over 9000 heroes, but 8 won't even permit 5vs5 matches despite that there's a 5vs5 map. At launch they would need at LEAST 10. And even then, no matter how customizeble a hero can be it would get stale with only 10. The variety of match ups would be very limited and there would be alot of times where you would feel like you already had that hero as an ally 10 times in a row already.
I'm not a pro but i'm sure thats there is more than one way to play pudge. Like you could go for tank or pusher or buffbot or whatever. But more importantly his skills are more fun to play with than uncleans. Altough i agree that demigod will have alot more options with yours skills DotA has by far more cooler skills and items. And i'm hoping for a change there. And just so you know i'm not very good with coming up with thoose things so i can't help there. I can just say look att DotA.
Trigeminal, quality over quantity, about that... Since you say that you need encyclopedia to play i take it that you have not played DotA very much and that the "heroes lacks in quality" is an assumption based on a somewhat flawed logic. Thinking that if theres quantity then there can not be quality could be right if it is some rushed job but this is a game that has seen constant updates for several years now, driven by a whole community. A community that has helped shape the game, ba
I don't have anything against memorizing, one point in my post was that it's not more complicated with recipes than upgrades. It seemed like you didn't like that you had to get a yasha to get more speed because it took up an slot with out being that good. But having to choose between items with a slot limitations is important. If you can just upgrade one item without any additional items you loose an strategic part of the game. And some items should not be gotten by some heroes. Some is good
It's true that it gives simple things like speed, armor etc. But at the final upgrade of the examples he's given there's a special attribute like an additionally 10% chance to proc %based item abillities. This is much like the recipe system where you get simple upgrades such as speed, armor and stats with each ingredients then something special with the recipie. So you would still need to see what item has your desired effect as a starting item and still have a good ending effect. Jus
To Random_ Retard Random_Guy You asked us to write why recipies are better than upgrades but you havn't written why upgrades are better than recipies (exept for claiming it's simpler). Why are the upgrade system less complicated? The upgrade system works like this; you get an item then theres two paths or three to get a better item right? So even if you say that theres to muc
I think you should either spawn all creeps with your skills instead of buying them or at least use your skills for you greatest creeps. In order to not have to many skills for each type of creep you could have one skill called "Summon", that when used would give you a selection of all the creeps you can use at that lvl. As you lvl summon you get access to more creeps. You could have sevral summon skills so you can summon more than one at a time. Skills further down the tree you could have a s
Is there a way to install a previous ver. of demigod? I couldn't play it in the beginning and i want to try out regulus alittle.
I see. Thanks.
Did they temporarily remove Regulus in the new beta? I don't see him in the selection screen but it doesn't say that he got removed in the changelog.
Underscore, _ , is still ok btw right?
I have the latest nvidia drivers. I'll check with the directx but i don't think that's it since i can play anything else.
