i still cant get a newly built ship to auto join a fleet , i know im being stupid but need more instructions on how to do it. clicking the rally point on the fleet doesnt work , cant click the rally point on the fleet symbol on the scroll down bit on the left off screen . just cant seem to work it out

thanks im sure i tried clicking on the fleet with the rally point , guess maybe i wasnt doing it right , i'll try it by clicking on the tree. didnt realise the beta did that , thats a good new feature.
i remember doing this before , but i've managed to forget how . I want newly produced ships to join an exsisting fleet . Also when a ship joins a fleet will it automatically assume the same engagement rules? if not can you make that happen ?. I dont like seeing a huge fleet chasing after a scout , i like having my fleets on 'hold position' while they sittting idle .
Now, I know that many people have come on here with relatively poor remarks of Sins, and usually I can deduce they aren't big Strategy gamers. Anyone who loves a strategy game could at least find Sins somewhat enjoyable - lucky for me I find it very enjoyable I'm new to the game myself , i would say most things i read are positive . All the reviews were , which is what made me buy the game . Bound to be some complaints , and these are usually from people who have play
I think what the OP said is true in every RTS game to be honest . Thats why in alot off games i never actually finsih them i jsut restart once i know its all over .
I installed the beta the otehr day , on my second game i got the achievement . No idea what it was about or what got me it . I was to busy killing things to take much notice at the time.
been playing the beta over the last couple of days , seem's good .
i'm new to the game so take what i say with a pinch of salt , but i always assumed planet upgrades should be a high priority . And really its best to conquer a planet when you know you have the resources to upgrade it all the way asap.
i dont have any keybindings , and havent moved on to multi player yet , so i guess i might as well get it .
i see there's a beta patch available for download , and alot off people thing its good . I'm using 1.05 and thinking off downloading it . Any reason i should wait for the proper release pactch? , any reason to stick with 1.05?
thnaks for the very detailed replies , that's been a good help . I'll give it another week off singleplayer (not getting to play much at moment due to work) and then try it online .
I should have explained that I am talking about a single player game, not multiplayer. Your objections do not apply here. I cannot see any problems.
why not just pause the game when you need to . I prefer turn based games myself , as i find it very relaxing sitting thinking about things while having a cup of tea :) (total war series and CIV being my favourites) . I just dont see a need for turn based when y
thinking off playing online soon and got a few questions 1) how good should i be against the Ai to be good enough to play online ? 2) Do many people play COOP online against the AI ? 3) Whats the rules on 'pausing' the game online , is that an option? , just cant be done? or just upto the players? 4) Is there any sort of ranking system ? to judge who is just as new as me? 5) Does the Online sided of the game run well ? is latency not really a factor and
i got the digital download and was impressed , it donwloaded within 25 minutes , it installed itself and was updated to the latest version . Within 30 minutes of clicking 'BUY' i was playing the game . Can't ask for more than that really.
i've only played 2 full games myself . I know your first capital ship is free so it's best to get it asap . I think its best to buy 200 crystal at start so you can build you mines etc , upgrade planet , and capital ship yard straight away , you can then take a planet or 2 near you with a small fleet and your capital ship . some things ive learned in the couple of game i have played * try and get an AI as an ally , it really helps . * destroy your capitalship yard
i'm new to the game myself , not had any trouble on a large random map with 7 AI's . Been tough at times for sure , but just hung in there . Whenever i have had an allaince , the AI has neve broke it , and they have helped me immensely . I think you need an AI ally to survive. In my current game (only my 3rd) i was being attacked on 2 sides by 3 AI's and was slowly sinking into defeat , i managed to get one of the 3 AI's onto my side , he then suddenly starting helping me in t
i'll definetly give online play a go after i've played alot more singleplayer . I usually find i don't enjoy RTS games online though , it just becomes too stressful and who can click the quickest , i like to watch the space battles and try things out , not just build the same build que every match and zooming around the map clicking fast . I tend to prefer playing coop or with friends . Who knows maybe this game will be diffrent , i'll certainly give it a go before writing it off.
I was a bit bored last night and decided i needed a new game , i remembered reading in Pc gamer that this game was good , so i noticed you could buy and download it , so being impatient for a new game i went ahead . 1) downloading it - This was hassle free and very quick , clear easy to follow instructions , within 25 minutes off deciding to buy it it was downloaded and installed and ready to play , i was pleasantly surprised. 2) tutorials - w
