I had that problem too, and like -Ue_Carbon just said, it was the "Show team colors" button in the options menu

Oh, good, this helps me as well because I was having the same problem!

Whenever I try to start up my game, a message appears and it wont let me play the game. "The product appears to be validated but the machine SID doesn't match. Try deleting the file C and re-activating" I can't figure out what to do, I looked for a file named "C" but couldn't find anything, I also tried uninstalling and re-installing the game, but the message still pops up. I have had this game for several months now and this message has never appeared

I think I can translate his OP! here goes. Do you guys think that carriers are too strong now? When carriers attack, my ships die like flies! Even the defense ships don't help! Come on, the Advent's all over me! _ is that easier to read now?

is it normal that all of the ships are black meshes right now? there arent any textures on any of the ships I build

I don't think it has been mentioned before, but you're right, you can hover over the object but can't select it.
