Do you not own Diplomacy? It may be that the upgrade is only for owners of Sins + Entrenchment + Diplomacy, not just owners of Sins in general (I'd assume as much anyway). FYI, the SURVEY2010 coupon code is still active (or it was for me a minute ago anyway), so you can use that to get 10% off your order (cost me $26.95 with the upgrade discount!).

Nice! Is that picture of the pond upside down, or is it my imagination?

Is it? Speaking as someone who has lived most of his life in the boonies, I didn't see anything obviously fake about it. Of course, I know next to nothing about digital image manipulation.
Extrapolating a little, I'd say I draw at a 5-year-old level! Not bad.
I read all these posts but I never really comment. Anyway, just chiming in to say that I have much more confidence in the game designers making an awesome game than I do in the community forming some kind of consensus. I appreciate all the public information and discussion, but I'm really glad it's filtered through the designers; this game has so much potential. So basically, the discussion is great, but the meta discussion (talking about what we're talking about) seems kind of
*facepalm* Just an epic facepalm.
1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NowtEh8snVE 2. I really like the *idea* of supercapital ships, but we're not getting them in Diplomacy, and I think doing them well would be extraordinarily difficult (but also REALLY COOL). 3. I didn't actually read this thread, I just felt like tossing in my two cents!
I was going to download the Wolfenstein demo from Fileshack , and to get the higher 750 KB/s download cap you need to register (it's only 500 KB/s for unregistered users). Fileshack has been around for years and has a good reputation, so I had no problem signing up for 250 KB/s more bandwidth. I'm actually pretty sure I had a Fileshack account years ago, I just forgot the username/password.
I'm sure someone will eventually mod in the MoM races, units, spells, etc. (or maybe that's wishful thinking!).
I'm just saying... if I killed over 10,000,000,000 over the course of the gameplay I've done so far out of a siginificant faction (which I'm pretty sure IF I've kept count, I've met about half of that already)
That's crazy!
Maxxy, it is true that you are "allowed to express [your] disappointment". You can talk all you want; no one is inclined to listen. Feel free to make your own website and publish your thoughts there. Also, you should look up the term net neutrality ; it doesn't mean what you think it means.
Custom game stats should still be collected, but they shouldn't affect the ladder or XP at all; I never understood why they did (alternately, just make the XP gain drop rapidly with level disparity, to prevent people from climbing the ladder by farming a bunch of noobs all day long; it's not fun for anyone involved). The pantheon and skirmish matchmaking should be anonymous (ideally, you could see everyone's connection quality, but nobody's user name) to prevent easily gaming the s
They are almost as bad as the guys who go crazy over them as if the game is for picking up a date.
I only play Demigod against the AI, and they keep ignoring my pick up lines. [e digicons]:'([/e]
Thanks Ninazu, I must have missed that option.
I run with two monitors. Maybe I'm just missing an obscure option somewhere, but Demigod doesn't seem to like this kind of setup. Running in full screen mode (I didn't see a windowed option), I can move the camera up, down, and left with the mouse, but I can't move it right; my mouse just goes onto the second monitor. For now I'm using the arrow keys to compensate, but it's annoying.
