I have manuelly moved the ships in 3d space before, you know moving them above and below the grid around a planet, but its not working anymore for some reason. I have used the "~" button and I have tried pressing and holding "D", but neither initiate the 3D move. what is it called on the key bindings menu? maybe it got erased somehow, but i dont know what its called on the menu. any help is greatly appreciated, i like moving em in 3d :)

for half a million units out there, theres not many on the multiplayer. i mean i would expect at least a thousand on at any time, but im seeing only numbers in the 50's. whats going on? did i miss the party? is it because of all this confusion with the beta 1.1? when the official 1.1 comes out will that fix things? also, on a side note, can a 1.1 play with a 1.05 and lower over ICO? thanks.
hey, i no im prob alittle late to this question and after reading about 2/3's of the thread i decided to jus answer. a small ship has less inertia than a large ship, and so a large ship would need alot more force to get it up to speed, and a hell of alot more to stop. personally i dont think the small fighter craft can handle the stress being put on the craft, and so a small fighter zipping around deep space prob wont happen unless a really really really strong material is found and ther
I was really excited after playing the demo for a few days and went out and bought the game, hoping that all of that "4x" gameplay would be expanded upon in the retail, but i was alittle disapointed. I mean I don't really see the 4x ideas that well. ive been comparing it to games like starcraft and warcraft and really there isnt much of a difference. i mean in all 3 games you explore, expand, exploit and exterminate on some level, except in sins it takes you alot longer. if you can
