Why is the Diplomacy owner preorder online-only? I like games that come in physical boxes compared to an Impulse library game. I like wallowing in my large collection of CDs and game cases, just kidding. However, I prefer to have a physical copy of the game, so would there be a way to receive the $10 discount and get a CD in the mail?
Distant Stars had a thing where each additional research structure you build increases your research rate by 5%... not sure what happened to that.
I think the phase disruptors are pretty useless. You can only build them on your OWN planets, and if those planets get attacked, i would rather that the fleet attacking my planet leave, rather than prolonging their stay in the gravity well. I think the disruptors should prolong the jump INTO the gravity well with the disruptor in it, while also showing each unit attempting to jump in. I think that the defense and Diplomacy trees have too few branches. One is not enough. I think that Defense should get Surface Defenses that add health to the planet, add surface to space weapons, bomb shelters, and those kinds of things. The Diplomacy tree should have the Reputation branch, which deals with how other empires react to you, and how easy it would be to colonize other planets. Low reputation would mean that empires act more aggressively towards you, and it would be harde
Vs AI i just make capships and nothing else until i have a good economy. Its pretty fun actually, you dont lose any ships (aka no wasted money) and you get stronger and stronger ships as you kill more.
with this mod, can you build stuff around colonized gas giants?
draak, i found ZERO in a huge multi map. several, actually.
For some reason gas giants do not seem to exist in this mod. Have they been replaced with new planet models? I have played several premade and random maps, and so far none have had any gas giants.
Besides. If you are in the army, you do not get taxed. That would really really suck if you got taxed in the army and then went to war and died.
How does GOO work? I have heard good things about how it works, and that people are unable to pirate Stardock games.

As a side note, there are rumors of Sins 2. I think the devs have confirmed it. They said they cancelled the third micro expansion to release Sins 2 faster.

Maybe select a ton of planets and mass build structures, like if you select 100 carrier frigates and have them all make bombers.

Why is this not in the game? I wait forever for my allies to offer me their pacts, but they only offer like 1... in the whole game. I dont see why it is not already an option, since everything else is requestable. Either this or making AIs give pacts more frequently would be a great improvement.
