I think there is something lacking in SOASE. Dont get me wrong, i love the game, but i think something has been left out. After you colonize a large part of the solar system, the planets furthest from combat dont really have much use other than resource gathering and the odd relic or two. Everything except trading stations and ore reprocessors are basically useless. I know planets give money, metals and crystals, but it seems like a waste to leave those planets alone. I came up with the idea

I know, but i just found out that there will be no more micro-expansions, and therefore we will get a sins 2.

I think it should have a bigger name, like Sins of a Galactic Empire. There will be quite alot of changes to the sequel of the game, and i think the races would have time to expand into the galaxy.

1. Yes, with the patch, bombers are good against capships, large vessels and buildings. Fighters are good against small ships and other strike craft. 2. They automatically generate money as long as you have atleast one more in another gravity well. TEC rely on that alot, so i suggest you fill all free slots with trade centers in the early game. 3. Just a graphic, broadside attack maybe? 4. Damage per second, but it really does not matter as long as you dont do hardcore
8. Request Starmaps. You ask for the specific knowledge an empire has of the phase lanes and planets they've encountered. 9. Give Starmaps. Same, but you're giving your knowledge instead. Isn't that already given when they say "Planet vision" or something like that?
Well, the starmaps would give the planets that the empire explored but does not have any units in.

Once im in the ironclad folder, there is nothing there but galaxy forge. Do i have to make my own folders from there?
1. At the start of the game, when we encounter the neutral independent worlds (lesser states) guarded by militias, we need to see new ships. There should be at least one whole new fleet type that has 2 types of frigs, 2 types of cruisers, and 1 type of capital ship. 2. Aside from conquering them or assimilating them with culture, we should be able to have limited diplomatic relations with these worlds. They should also be able to ask for help.
&nb

Yeah Steam sucks without internet. I have DOW II and if i dont have an internet connection, my Steam rejects the game startup and does not let me play.

How about Vassal states? When you bring an enemy to the brink of annihilation (1-3 planets left), they will offer to be a vassal state. Vassal states are permament allies that give 20% of their income to you, make all ship, planet and vision abilities seen by you, and obey your orders without a second thought. They will still be controlled by AI, so its not like you gain control of the planets/units.

How can i install mods? There are no guilde threads in the Mod forum to help me through the process. I would really like to install a mod, but i dont know where to put the folders and what to rename/retype.

Well, its just a suggestion. What im thinking is that the captain knows he already lost, so he destroys the station before the fleet can disable the self destruct.
