Hey Ive been tyring to make an ability to add to the Vasari Kol. So far I created the Ability entity, the buff, added the ability name and description to my English.str and added the ability name to the capship entitiy file. The problem is that when I look over the capship the infocard that pops up does not show the ability and when I make the cap ship and try to spend the ability point I get minidumped. The English.str file is inside the folder of the mod im running. C

Anyone know a mod that can shorten game time to more Starcraft like times? Say 30 minutes to 45 minutes? I already know how to increase the speeds in the game options but this usually leaves me with 2 hour games.

It would work if the person let you repeatedly do it to them. I think its pretty unlikely because unless you get your cap ship in there before they make thiers they could always just Ion Bolt or disable you... Leaving you with a stranded ship.

I sort of agree with your description of the TEC but they are already weak enough in my opinion! (Militarily Wise) Im not really sure about the others.... Vasari I would see as the alien hive going after people but more of a controlled military group than random Cap ships... And the advent I also see as very vengeful but I also see them as MORE cultured than the rest and actually teching in cultures quickly.

I usuallly upgrade early for first level LRM range or damage increases and then move onto the AOE upgrade. Then during small skirmishes I upgrade armor as I usually don't have the time for more active management

Hi guys I recently got SINS and just jumped into it with my friends after reading these forums for abit. I play vasari and my friend plays advent. One problem im having is facing his destras. Towards the end of every game he spams them en mass. He also adds the progenitor. I was thinking of a fleet composition to counter this.
