yah. thats pretty much the gist of the races
here you go.....
dang! they really upped the graphics from Homeworld! thanks G_Bison! but the question was "Is homeworld 2 more like sins or is it still like homeworld?
look at us! we quoting Homeworld stuff for sins! why doesnt homeworld just make a sins version of itself? THAT would be an amazing game! i have not played homeworld 2 sadly so if that is homeworld 2 someone tell so i can go buy it
isnt that basically what the flood was? the flood was an intergalactic life from with the only thought of wiping out any sentient beings.
ok yes, u shuld, but for me, my multiplayer dont work. been going thru all the things, cant figure out why so i stopped caring. but some formations would be useful for an assault on an enemy planet and just disable the formation after they start attacking.
yah. homeworld had the right idea of having all the different formations. if we could have that implemented in SOASE then we would have some REAL fun happening. and more control over squadrons too! i hate how they all bunch up and just become a mass. sometimes just glitching into one fighter/bomber. if we could change there formation too XD lotsah good stuff!
although i will say that i do agree with NemoStardust
I would like to see more fleet tactics options. Perhaps a way of grouping my fleet into one position (say capital ships int the fron, LRF behind them and support ships further behind them). As it is now, there is only engagement range and fleet cohesion to joggle with. Not much I think. And perhaps a way of telling priorities to ships, like tell my Hoshikos to priorize healing my ca
This sort of stuff is easily (and frequently) done through micromanagement, and strong players never use fleets because (among other things) fleets cause your ships to waste a lot of time moving into position inside the fleet rather than firing or something.
yah, using fleets is only effective when ur moving them to a distant area and u want to seperate them from another part of your fleet. but in battle, no fleet.

Problem is that such settings become a pain to balance... Shogun Total War (the first one) had the option to have infinite ammo for missile units...when it was on, missile units
the only 2 halo mods Ive found is one that supposedly changes TEC ships to have less shields, slightly more armor, just more like a Halo ship, and make the Advent more like the covenant, but for some reason it wont work for me. the other one i found isn't out yet and it was referred to me by a friend and its supposed to change meshes so the tec ships are now more Human-Halo and the Advent now have covenant-like ships. its supposed to edit the ships to the point of 7 Deadly Sins editing.</
ok ill stop the signature, but if u have a map large enof (just make a rigged one) just use "Huge Multi" and make urself the only player, if u go far enof, and even then u can find the same one twice in the same solar system, and u WILL find 2 of the same.
OK, agreed, i do like the idea of having these limitations to attempt realism, but micromanagement would be kept to a minimum because the abilities needed would be added to new ships. or, better yet, the colony frigate could be an Omni-Resupply ship as well and the resupply ability will be one thing, not 4 different abilities. i do know this would mean there would still be micromanagement to keep fleets supplied, but the overall effect is to add realism. If you have played any of the games ma
EDIT: also a Omni-Resupply Capital ship. This will bascially be a bigger omni-resupply ship with more space to hold it and also more powerful to defend itself. that is all.
lol. more lore would be good. a nice history gives a nice feeling. go sgthydra!
I've always liked how in some games, like this very old game "Homeworld", ships are given a limitation like Feul. in other games they limit Ammo (although they are usually land-based strategy games like "Battlefield"), and we all know that spaceships don't have an unlimited supply of Air (Oxygen, Carbon Dioxide, or whatever the Vasari and Advent breathe) and every living thing needs water and some from of nutrients (food).
I think Land-Based Combat would be a great idea, but instead of focusing on the planet and pausing the game otherwise, instead divide the planet into sections and choose to invade/bombard/destroy certain sections of the planet at a time. the on-ground combat and all bombardment would be automated, but it could still show an animation of whats going on down there. but you cant take control of who's down there. Truthfully, I would like to see Stardock PERSONALLY create the mysterious race of "Vasari Killing Monsters" possible a shootoff of Halo's "Flood". i would LOVE it if they incorporated a Halo-Like-Flood race to the game. Signed, Trade Emergency Coalition Advanced Research Facility (TEC-ARF)
Athena (to me) does not look cool. All it is is 2 half elipticals stuck over parralel lines! Absolutley it is a fortress, but to me it doesnt seem it would have anything but armor to show for its size. majority of its weapons would be meager and its speed near null. The rebel titan DOES look cool tho. to me its an advanced, oversized KOL Battleship, and it would absolutley win ina 1v1 conflict with another titan. i have not seen the advent/vasari ones yet tho so no comment there. &nbs
I think there should be more artifacts in each game generally. Right now you need to have a map with about 100 planets to get all artifacts in the game. That simply sucks. If they would make it one artifact per 3 planets on average, you would need a map with only 36 planets to get all the artifacts into the game. Would be a lot cooler in my opinion.
it may be a lot cooler, but if you have duplicates then u may only get h
Sorry about my grammar. Like I said, was on a bit of a time limit. And yes I do understand that Terrans and Deserts are large planets and Asteroids are small etc. But i mean in the case of the individual planet TYPES there are sizes among them. Say a "Small Terran Planet" and a "Medium Terran Planet" and there is a slightly different amount of Tactical slots, Logistical slots, how much population it can support, how much health the planet has, probability of artifacts/bonuses etc. Even the am
I think they could improve the artifact system. Right now its not worthwhile searching for them.
thank you! for one thing, i HATE finding the same artifact 3 times in one game! i say only 1 artifact of each kind on the map no matter HOW big, and also more types. we at 12 right now right? i think we need 20!
all rite, im on a minor time limit here so i make this breif and if anyone else suggested this, i support u but i havent red it. i want the planets to have "size" we all know planets aint the same size so why are all the planets in sins the same size? i want to have "sized" planets so that we have a little more strategy put into what planet u attack next or, should i reinforce this pathetic planet or this nice prosperous MASSIVE planet. a change like that wuld be nice. obviously i can see the
