*thumbs up* Thank you very much. For testing purposes, is it possible to add more then just the frigate factory to the starting data? I would assume so but just to clarify...

So I finally got the starts of my new custom race working but I noticed that I don't start out with a frigate factory. I assume that the "starting structures" are race based instead of universal. Could someone tell me (in deteail) on how to set it so my new race can start with a frigate factory?

I like this idea, I'd also like to see in a future expansion an entirely new ship that's sole purpose is to protect, buff capital ships.

Well I'll hop on the bandwagon and give my info of what I'd like to see come of the priates. Right now it seems like nothing really changes the more credits you give them short of threir threat lvl so let's expand on that. When the priates get X amount of credits from bounty then unlock a new technology, like a new ship type or weapon upgrade, possibly even some new planetary defenses instead of the ludicous amount of turrets they always have. So with 1.1 waiting in the wings and 1.096 Beta out now, there is a simple something I wish to know. I assume that the current Galaxy Forge doen't work with the 096 Beta cuz all my custom maps no longer show up. So is there any patch or new edition of GF I missed or am I waiting for a new edition when 1.1 comes out?

WOW! I went crazy trying to figure out why my mod wasn't working and now with this I can get a fresh start and FINALLY get it on the way THANK YOU! EDIT: You say only the Mesh and Game info is needed right? I assume the particletxt and the other isn't needed to get the mods up and running?

*scratches head* Ok now I know something is wrong. It's all .entity files but now my custom maps from GalaxyForge won't show either, and they're in the proper galaxy folder... so for whatever reason my mod (even when activated) isn't working and my GF maps aren't showing up... could it have something to do with 1.096 beta?

Ok my turn again, this time with info so I know what goes where. I created my new race, based them off the Advent, edited the capital ship files to hold my two test capital ships (the rest being the normal Advent ships), turned "isPsi" to FALSE. Added the Name string ID into the string engish folder for the name of the race, I also did it for the two capital ships. For the CAp ships I went into their files and made sure that the name and description string matched the proper ID's. I e
