What I mean't was how do you get the computer to Auto-Research your tech tree? What do you click?

When you buy and sell resources on the Black Market screen, the price for buying is on the left (usually around 450 or so) but the price for selling is on the right (about 250 or so). I have been trying to figure this out as well... You can place resources for sale and you can adjust your price and the AI does seem to buy. Just to clarify then: is this intended simply as a method for influencing the main stock market above (i.e. by undercutting and crashing the market or vice-versa) or can you actually buy other players' offerings like the AI buys yours?
