Yep. Assuming the enemy is idiot enough not to overcome your fleet, which you just stripped off of one capital ship, that could have been casting Volatile Nanites, Repair Cloud, Weapon jamming, Replicate forces or Nano Disassembler. Or even a freakin' Phase Out Hull on focused ships so the enemy's LRM dps is essentially wasted or on enemy caps so they do nothing good for them / bad to you.

Ok so you're saying my post should have sounded like this: "sry dude, I got some good tricks that could help you, but they aren't viable in multiplayer (which you aren't doing but you could someday) so I won't post them" ? Now that would be helpful as s... . And your idea is no different from my first one, simply using another research that does the same. Anyway, if you're a fast clicker, you can do my b] thing without pause ;p Or you could always turn off Retur

Guess I bought the game too late (less than 4 weeks ago?) to have my findings make it to 1.1. Darn [e digicons]:'([/e] Still, it is good to actually see that you guys are doing the job. In the industry that prefers dropping bug fixing as soon as their calculations say it isn't really profitable, it is nice to know Sins do have a future. gj, keep it up [e digicons]5*[/e] edit. to Tkins below - scan the Beta Feedback forum for threads that I created. edit.

As of yet though, there are tricks for it: a] if you haven't developed your fleet capacity to maximum, you can start another upgrade, then select your units you want to build, then cancel the upgrade. As soon as your negative fllet point counter zeroes (i.e. you lose or scuttle enough ships), your queued ships will start building and the RA will not interrupt that. b] Select a group of any number of the same unit, Pause the game, press scuttle -> tab -> scuttle -&gt

I don't have the time to read all of the above right now, but as long as the shield mitigation is kept maxed with only 12,5dps incoming on the ship, spreading fire will be useless. Why? Let's say you wanna spread fire over 50 cobalts and you have enough firepower. You want the shield mitigation not maxed. This means you gotta deal less than 12,5dps. Let's say 11dps. Ok so you're dealing 11dps to the frigs and they're prawning your frigs one by one, reducing your damag

It's pretty easy to see. Surely you have a zillion saved games with a level 6 Antorak and at least one enemy planet with a Phase Jump inhibitor built. The reason why I too haven't really paid attention to it for 20 hours of using Antorak as my only cap (!) is because you generally do not attempt to jump with a phase jump inhibitor online. Usually you tell your LRMs or Bombers or, hell, even vulkoras to deal with it and the structure goes puff in seconds. I for one like Antorak
use volatile nanites with phase missile swarm, its a great combo .
It's the VOLATILE NANITES which make the combo deadly, while the PMS only makes the chain reaction come a little sooner. Shortly: The Distort Gravity's tooltip says it increases the affected ships' sub-light movement speed and that it does (although a slight boost to maneuverability would also be pretty welcome, cause right now the skill turns a slow and clumsy ship into a fast and equally clumsy ship). The ability's tooltip also says that the ability applies "Jump Interference Immune" tag to affected ships and that also happens - the ships get that. However, when a ship with this effect

Ok, so now the Vulkoras is going to be an über big fat siege frigate with strong "get lost nibs" abilities to be used against small enemy regiments. Can't wait to throw a level 5 Vulk againt an enemy planet and see its health go dooown. Thanks Fraser.

Did you correct the formula for calculating how weaponcooldown reduction affect the weapon cooldown, or have you just set the digits from negative to positive? Cause there are quite a few abilities that I didn't look into, which also affect shooting speed (Power Surge etc.).

I wasn't saying that every skill should be useful against high numbers of enemies. Skills that have one target are ok to be there as well. However, each ship, which is supposed to be useful in large battles, should have a skill that would make it so. Radiation bomb deals less AOE damage than phase missile swarm, but it does it to everything, not just 7 targets - meaning that whatever you decide to kill next will go down quicker, because it was in the area of effect. I would change my

Vulkoras Desolator. What's the point of this ship? Damage dealing? Its Phase missile swarm isn't nearly as effective as it should. Disintegration is channeled (i.e. disruptable in a zillion of ways). Forward damage is mediocre compared to Marza, Kol or Kortul. Yes is fires Phase missiles, but they're nowhere near killer. Assaulting Planets? Assault spec and bombing platforms may hint that this is the thing. Still, Evacuator aka "Space Egg" can do more damage to p

Ok so the ship has "bombingFreqTime" and the skill alterates "PlanetBombingCooldown". I'm new to modding and messing with files, but if the skill changes ^ this, then such a parameter should be somewhere in the ship's parameters OR there must be an algorythm of how "PlanetBombingCooldown" modification affects "bombingFreqTime". I'll try to sneak peak in that.
