"its the old Potomac two-step, Jack" "sorry, Mr. President, i dont dance" The President and Jack Ryan; Clear and Present Danger
"there is nothing wrong with fear. you need never be ashamed of it, as olong as it doesnt stop you functioning. fear is your natural warning system; it keeps you alive so that you can fight. show me a man who isnt afraid, and i will show you a fool who is a danger to his entire ship. and i do not tolerate fools in my navy." Admiral Adar Tallon, addressing the new intake at a Republic academy; Republic Commando: Hard Contact
"So how do we justify what we are doing now? Breeding men without choice, and without freedom, to fight and die for us? When do the means cease to justify the ends? Where is our society heading? Where are our ideals, and what are we without them? If we give in to expedience, where do we draw the line between us and those we find unacceptably evil? I have no answer, Masters. Do you?" no, thats not it "lead, follow, or get out of the way!" - General George S. Patton thats also in mine
Im disturbed by the aparent silence of star/clad on the forums. Used to be they had people patroling the forums and making an apearence on just about every game relevent post to correct information and dish it out when needed. Since the entrenchment beta i havnt seen any sign of a mod posting ANY kind of response...
perhaps they are very busy working on implementing

it seems to me that those who are in favor of faster games are missing the point... any type of ultimate game ender, must do this to win, rushing, spamming, etc. destroys the purpose of the game. the point is to explore different strategic depths, and have multiple ways of playing viable. i think what Ironclad was trying to do with Entrenchment was good; namely, end these spam tactics, especially LRFs. the mines, i think are especially good for this, although a limit is needed. obviously the
reconstruction wasnt bad. cant believe grif was a sarge for those of you who havent watched red vs blue, go do that now. im serious. it is the most important thing in the world.
