tbh i think that the boot is better as it is rarther then being just a static image like in vista, also as win7 takes a lot shorter to boot there will be not much point in having it :p
Object Desktop is a collection of programs so you will get seperate downloads for each program. Windowblinds 7 is currently in beta testing so will only appear in impulse after the option 'show beta updates' has been checked
WindowFX is currenty only for use with XP only, however i think a new version is developed which may work on windows 7, best bet is to e-mail [email protected] and ask for a refund though might not get a full refund as it does say xp only on the Object Desktop comparison page page

although taking up trees and converting them to keyboards may not look to be much good, its the fact that when they have been finished, the wooden parts can then be broken down and put back into the soil to grow another tree

if stardock is a certified microsoft partner then can't they work with ms to unlock more parts to skin like the logon screen etc?

when you have installed the products, right click on them and see if it says Re-Activate in the menu, if it does then clickig that may make the apps then work for you
wb7 will be compatable with xp 32bit, As for updates, minor version changes 7.1-7.2 etc are free but upgrade from 7.4-8.0 are not free, but will be at a reduced cost then the full product
maybe, it was just an idea anyway that there is already the foundations eg impulse already there
or have the wc linked with impulse so that you dowload the skin using impulse and then if there is an update it will show one available like a normal app or game
sounds like cursor fx is not set to autostart with windows, try adding it to autostart (i think there is an option in the settings someware)
you can ether select the trail that you want from the list, or make your own, though changing colours of trails and click colours are in the next update i think
you would be able to install it on 2 computers eg home and work, as long as they are used only by yourself and only one computer active at a time
i hate it when the games are regionally priced and charging the same price as it would be to own the physical game i men they don't have any manufacturing costs to pay, i don't think that there is tax to pay ether so why charge the same price as in a store. If they don't want to make a proffit from the US then they shouldn't try and make a proffit from the rest of the world also
If a free version showed up in impulse, it will most likely be that you have an Object Drsktop ultimate subscription in which case you should receive the full version once it is out of beta

hmm, i think the nearest thing you are going to come to OD being portable is to use rocket dock portable, It is very similar to OD. You may be able to make it portable if you were to somehow unpack the exe file though ii suspect that stardock would be aware of this and make the installers non unpackable
