Don't worry, it sucks here too :p I recently purchased entrenchment and had to uninstall, redownload, and reinstall Impulse, and install IE7 because impulse refused to complete it's update (and thus wouldn't let me update sins or install entrenchment). Steam works far better than impulse... at least you can play your games while the steam client is downloading an update.
Complete removal and reinstall seems to have done it. Thanks for the help.
Just purchased entrenchment through impulse. However, impulse appears to be unable to finish its update. The status in the bottom left gets to 57% then says "Downloading Impulse Update -Retrying" and stays there. It won't let me install entrenchment or update Sins. I tried reinstalling impulse to no effect. This is most annoying. I'm pretty sure this isn't a connection issue on my end since everything else works fine except Impulse. Any ideas? I'd like to play the game I payed for...
