My specific problem is with the game crashing; haven't actually defeated a single opponent on IC unless they crashed before I did. Other than that, there is the hosting issue. Inside the hosting issue, there's the fact that within the game, the only explanation they give you when your router ports are closed is either "Disconnected from Game Server" for joiners, or a neverending wait time if you're the host.
