So I finally did get GalCiv2 working, and then decided I wanted to install Linux. I could reboot my computer in Windows, but frankly in the few hours I've used Linux, I'd rather not use Windows ever again if I can help it. I downloaded Wine, but when I try to run GC2, the most I get is a black square on the screen (e.g. neither game nor launcher ever comes up). Well, I downloaded the update for GC2 on Impulse, and can run the game now. I got the update for DA and that one works now as well. I'm downloading the update for TA now, so hopefully that will make it work.

I just bought the Gold Edition and the CDs got here today. I installed the Gold Edition, and then immediately bought Twilight of Arnor, and DL'ed it through impulse. So far, I keep getting errors, and when I try and run either DA or TA it asks me to activate (which I think I already did), but doesn't accept the registration key. Also, the first time I tried to run TA (simply clicking the X in the corner of the activation window), it told me I had to update DA first. So
