How to reduce bounty in Sins of a Solar Empire Sins Forums

I've had this Game for a while and am trying to figure out how to play. Its taking a long time ! anyway I've set a pirate bounty but put to much in. Can I reduce the number. on the face of it theres only one button and it puts the bounty up. no cancel button or type over
