Could someone tell me the difference between galaxyforge and the in game map designer?
I haven't used Galaxy Forge yet (having problems getting it to run), but it sounds like it's easier to use, point and click type of thing where you can totally customize phase lanes between planets to make pure chokepoints of your choosing. The in-game map designer isn't as flexible as you seem to only control minor aspects on a

You can get it in the download (https://stardock.cachefly.net/GalaxyForge1.1.rar) section and there's a little tutorial here: https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/174739 Just play around a bit. If you have any specific questions then, just ask. There is also a way to code maps as text files, but I haven't tried that out. You get the idea if

Very nice Charts Zyrxil. I plan on printing them out and having them handy. It's better than thumbing through the manual. Heh heh. Thanks again for putting in all the effort to make these.

I like the idea of queuing up research (fire and forget) – I assume that it will research in the order it is clicked. Pre-paying the costs might be a problem, though. And you’ll get a situation report when the tech is done in the lower left of the screen, right? Hydro
If you

Oh, I also meant to say that I LOVE the refreshing posts from FrogBoy about this topic. In this day and age of politically correct pansies, it's pretty cool to see someone who says what he actually thinks instead of what he thinks someone wants to hear. Well done FrogBoy!

Hello, this is first post in this forum as I've just signed up but I've one question. My brother is giving me his copy of Sins because he doesn't play anymore and he deleted it off of his system. Will this affect my ability to download any patches needed if he registered the game?
