i have noticed the same problem when i exit to main menu when im playing a med to large map with lots of ships. i usually just open a task man. and close the program from there or like you said youll be waiting forever.
it says in the min system req. you need a 128 mb video card to run the game. i have a nvivdia geforce 7150 with only 64 mb. i was wondering if anyone knows why i can run sins on my computor. i can play large maps and my computor has no problems at all....until someone lays down a few thousand mines in every gravity well. if anyone could enlighten me on this subject, it is driving me crazy. im thinking maybe my video card is intergated into my system memory some how but i have no idea at all s

i overclocked vista also. i have been mini dumps. im running the beta so i think it might been the problem. other then that it runs alot better on the overclock profile.
i have a saved game where opponent (a.i.), cant remember but either vassari, or advent, build some many mines in a gravity well(1000+) if i can see the well(i.e. a scout goes there) all my ships within a few jumps disapear. my computor meets the req.settings. IMO mines have too be limited. there is now why even $10,000 computors are going to be able too handle 1000 mines in several wells plus the hundreds of ships you have to build if you want to want to win. let me know how too submit a save
i bought the digital download of sins then the expansion without baking up the original. is there anyway to get the original sins back?

i love the new expansion just because it takes longer. winning a hard fought game that takes hours to finish is more rewarding then winning with a lrm spam.
where are current change logs. i just got beta 1.1 and it would help alot to evaluate the beta if we knew the current state of changes.
same thing if any mod is in the file the wont load. hopefully they fix that asap
