Perhaps the Death Star could function as a Titan, but given the problem that it cannot destroy a planet due to Sins physics, perhaps it can target and destroy ships and structures, (similar to its use in Return of the Jedi). Give it an ability that can instantly destroy one frigate/cruiser/capital ship/starbase/defensive structure and with a reasonably long cooldown, (maybe between half or the same of the the Novalith cannon for example).
