i played for a few hours last night, and no dumps what i did notice (though by no means did i test the game exhaustively) is that Ship priority in a fleet is all whacked up in an unmodded game, cap ships come first, with the fleet admiral ship (so the one you have selected when you press the form fleet button) being the first of those. well, thats cause we keep going off on tangents =P right, so i have an idea for the Nolane Converter! i have this issue sometimes. the screen stays black until im sure its frozen... and then the Ironclad logo comes up although other times the IC logo will come up very quickly... you should try opening the game again, and just let it run for as long as possible. if after say 10-15 minutes (on the extreme end) nothing happens, then contact [email protected] about it.

well, what are the specs exactly? the box tells you the minimum requirements to play so work it out. but a insufficiently powerful graphics card or processor wouldnt cause the computer to shut down. it might cause the game to crash, or at least slow down and stall/stop responding, but it wouldnt shut your computer down. the only thing it can be is overheating or a bug/virus/error etc telling/causing the comp to shut down if you dont want to take it apart yourself you
