you can disable the screen as an input device in windows. it is under control panel > pen and touch. I have a touch enabled laptop, i have turned off the touch, but kept on the pen. thus i can write without all the touchings messing everything up. extra features which are turnoffable is not a problem. unless they add to the cost. to which. it does, but not by enough to make a difference.
if cinematic settings are on, many things might be invisible.

It is only limited by the range and by the fact that due to how sins math does work the actual damage reduction is only half as high as the values above: --> 9% / 16% / 27% / 41% Utterly incorrect. It is only "half has high" as a value, if the value was 100%... which would give a 50% damage reduction. 18% reduction

when i took the jump from 4 gigs to 8 gigs... i totally went from slamming against that 4 gig limit to slamming against that 8 gig limit. definitely upgrade, or go higher if you can.
you can tell if a starbase is 'rigged to blow' by its exp value, which is no longer set, but dependent on upgrades. You can use some upgrades to fake the exp value into suggesting the existence of big red button, but i dont think you can hide a big red button. Unless 'waiting to upgrade at last second' counts as hiding. in any case. players are not stupid usually.

races still require different quantities of resources, like, the advent is crystal heavy. And the black market would definitely still be a thing regardless, before quickstart, selling 200 metal and buying 100 crystal was one of the first things to happen in a game, and the quicker you were on that draw, the better.
Nothing is lost by adding an option. What could be gained however... 1v1's and/or competitive multiplier could actually become a thing. I know I would finally legitimately just be. ecstatic that I could play a 1v1, and not be able to blame a loss or win by getting map screwed / opponent getting map screwed. anything else interesting new in those files?
