Ok so I've successfully edited the entity file to create a white star with a correct corona, and it looks great! =D But I've still got some issues, there are no icons except for starcore (really zoomed out one). It's completely missing its info card, empire tree, in solarsystem icon, HUD picture, everything except for zoomed out. hmmmm, i tried this, and it worked to change the color of the star's surface, but its corona stayed the same... which file would corona information be in?
Ok, I really can't stand green stars, idk why, i guess cause they shouldn't exist irl, but its to the point where i have to restart a large map to get it so there are only blue red and yellow stars. "That is only true in 1 vs 1 games... what about huge maps and many players?" yeah i was playing, i think hyperion gates, and i was able to defeat the last other faction in my system, but it wiped out half my fleet. i was able to not get attacked by creating ceasefires with the other factions, but it was near impossible to rebuild my fleet.

ok, so i would like to see a mod that expands on a lot of the existing things in soase. i have no modding experience, but i would really like to see this. i am open to any suggestions. this mod would include: new ships classes: heavy carrier (we have percheron light, why not a heavy?) supports one extra sc squad, and has flak turrets, would cost more than a light carrier and a couple flaks, but lower command cost. needs like 6 military labs, maybe an ability lik
oh ok good, i thought my computer was seriously messed up, i guess its back to entrenchment for the week till the final release comes out
i just installed found some update today for entrenchment and sins vanilla and installed it, thinking that it for diplo. i opened up entrenchment the clicked on play diplo. as soon as the game started to open it took a dump, and now diplo's uninstalled from impulse, and i cant re-regester it!!

hey, i dont know if this is actually possible, because im not a modder, but could you seperate the inbuilt mods into their own folders so i dont have to activate all of them? like for example, the graphics mod, and the fleet supply increase are great, but they make my not so new computer lag really bad, to the point where ill just stop playing a game because the lag is that bad

how do you demand resources from the AI? and i just finished a ffa game and i never got a mission from the AI, not once, so i could only get friendlyness up to around 10 but not enough for any pacts, also there is no race relations differance
How about a carbon planet? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon_planet , there are some legit theories backing this idea, it would be the size of a terran planet, but would have carbon compounds rather than silicon compounds making up the rock. it would also have seas of tar, hydrocarbon deposits, and possibly a mantle layer of diamond underneath the surface (trade boost?), might be able to harbor some really exotic form of exterrestial life, just look it up on google images if you need t
hey,this is a great mod, im playing it right now, but i noticeded a few things that i think should be changed. first off, with the black holes, someone spelled gravity wrong, lol, and black holes should have a much larger gravity well, and should be a type of star (rather than an anomaly)
tactical precision bombing could theoretically be used to soften defenses and raze the planets capital city (assumed that such exists) and major cities while using ground troops to take suburban and rural areas with less resistance
i think there should be a tactical conquest option, and also a boarding option (kinda like the advent mind control take over ship whatever) but that would require a whole new cruiser to carry ur peeps and launch boarding parties and invasion shuttles
