Well if its really just the fear of the first raid from the pirates I might suggest that its enough defence if you build 3-5 turrets (my experiences are as Vasari) to defend them and its lot better invested ressources than spending credits on the bid to turn the pirates against the enemy. The advantages of this strategy are that you dont spend credits on the bid but strengthen your defence, that you can go on colonizing planets not worring the first and even the second raid of the pir

I have had the same problems after the latest Entrenchment Beta Update. After Playing 1.30h to 2h in mid-sized maps the game causes a runtime error. Vista 32 Bit. Have not changed any graphical opitons between the betas but I have recognized that the error appears when i try to zoom in or out of a gravwell...

In the starting post stands that the regular Sins of a Solar Empire entry will dissapear after Entrenchment is added to the Impulse account BUT for me both are shown up... that means i have the regular Sins of a Solar Empire and the Sins - Entrenchment entry in my "My Games" list... Probably a bit late but @CenturionJixra If anyone cant handle the pirates how will he / she ever be able to win a serious multiplayer game ? My oppinion is that priates are exactly as strong as they have to be. If they would be weaker everyone would ignore them, if they would be stronger they would draw the attention away from the important things... killing the enemys (npc or player). For my Windows its C:\user\username\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\ Its Vista Home Premium 32 Bit there you find every single and multiplayer savegame you want :) an extra suggestion from my site... it could depend on wherther you installed the game for all or only for the current user where you have to search the save games... but its just a guess.
