a helpful way to find out just where a noise is coming from when it's hard to tell is to get an empty paper towel tube and hold it to your ear while moving around different areas of the case. it will help focus what you hear. hold the paper towel tube to the PSU, video card, hard drive and other various points, the spot you hear the loudest is the culprit.
