Slow resources in Strategy Sins Forums

Hi guys...i have been playing the game for a while now and im struggling with the resources.... they are generated very slow.... before i start the game i put it on fast resources and stuff..... and in-game i also build orbital refineries but i still find my metal and crystal generating at 1.8 per second. Can anyone help me with better strategies to speed up my resources?
