I originally posted these on Steam, but I've moved them here per Stardock's recommendations. <div class="commentthread_comment_text" style="font-size: 13px; overflow-wrap: break-word; overflow: visible;
You need to purchase the game once per player. It's in your EULA. Does no one even read those? -.-
The problem is, I bought the game before it was released. Things can change without notice in those instances. I was under the assumption you could do LAN play which, in the case of the other two Stardock multiplayer games, means one copy for multiple people. I think it needs to be advertised when a game will have significant deviat
I'm also curious about LAN multiplayer.
There was an area completely impassible where there was a cave I needed to go in for a quest. I might also want to note that the game kinda closed itself for some reason during my playtime. Reminds me of the good ol' beta A days.
I didn't say I played 800x600, but if I was on my netbook, that resolution might be probable. Too bad the game doesn't work on my netbook. In fact, I play the game at whatever resolution I need at the time whether that means stretching into another monitor or just keeping it in half of my main screen so I can work on other stuff while I wait for my character to walk back across the map.
Gen
Quoting Avitus, reply 38 Wait, what? I just paid money for a game that has been out for eight months and isn't complete yet?! What, precisely, the fuck? are you retarded? No, but evidently you are. Clearly you aren't aware that the generally accepted protocol is to finish a game first, and then release it. GPG have apparently decided that they're too good for that, though, and
Based on my posts here: http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=13544&start=15, I was hoping there'd be a way someone knows of to change the full-screen resolution list. I think it'd be fun to play around with surround aspect ratios on my large screen. It'd be better if I could do this and play on both of my monitors, but that's probably gonna require an engine re-write unless there's a way you can setup a custom aspect ratio for Windowed mode. <p
You know, I've been reading a bit online and can't remember, but Sins doesn't have objectives of anything. Each match is win right? It's like any multiplayer RTS, you just play it. Same with Demigod, not really much in the way of playing a story, just having some background and playing a game. If that's correct, what are these scenarios and objectives I'm reading about? I'm really looking for a way for my sister and me to really get some extra entertainment out of this game outside of the typ
By multiplayer, people mean Internet multiplayer. It won't work via LAN until you login which is why it's not been working for me this past month.
I would say Stardock has some pretty darn high requirements for its games. Being a low-profile game publisher and developer, seems like other developers don't have much to complain about. Priacy is a big issue, but it depends on with what games. Like it didn't affect the sales of Mass Effect, but it sure did one in for Titan Quest because the leaked copy had bugs and those lived with the game even past release. The game wasn't all that good, but it sure was pirated a lot by most of its projec
The video works today. I dunno what was up with the servers a few days ago so it's not just a driver fix that did the trick :P. In playing Galactic Civilizations and Elemental: War of Magic recently, it is interesting how these similar games are all different. The faster mode was discovered haphazardly by me when I started a game. My sister and I were quite impressed but the a 10-person match took us some 9 to 11 hours to finish. The biggest issue was, we won the game, but it didn't en
I think I figured out why my system has been having so many speed problems with this game. I've run it at 1024x768 or 1920x1200 in a window, even at other resolutions while full screen. I'm running an Intel Core2Quad Q6600 @ 3.0GHz and two HD4850s in Crossfire with 6GB of memory. Since the game played fine while paused and also worked very well for the first 10-20 minutes or so, I started to wonder what the real cause was. I ended up speeding up the game and letting it play itself for
What about worm holes? Same? I thought there's another for that. Problem is, what if you're at planet X and want to get to Y? Will it automatically send you through the worm hole next to you or reroute all the way through a bunch of planets?
Same here, no video.
I wish they'd just go the expansion route like they used to and like everyone else does. The whole DLC model makes it seems cheap and unneeded. It makes the game itself feel cheap and useless also.
Haha. Probably a bug.
Netbooks? Oh my gosh. Finally, a highly-optimized Stardock game! Man, if more games could play on lower-end machines my sister and I could finally play online with each other. Right now we've been going via LAN because there are only 4 machines in the house capable of running them and neither of them her laptop which is the most important. Myles, can you cite that Frogboy quote please?
Guess I wasn't the only one. I assume this was also fixed?
I wasn't very specific anyway. What I meant was, I picked one of the poses for the card and the dude was zoomed too much, so much that he went off of the screen by enlarging so much. The only picture I got was of a blank card which wasn't helpful.
I had opponents on. It was the same settings I'd been using. But this was fixed anyway I thought.
Seems to be down again though. Like right now.
Quoting Izuz, reply 25 Oh, well give use more details on it. @ heavenlysynn It seems now that your DG remeber his last AA target so when you use a skill or item even with cast time not instant, your DG will automatically go back to AA whatever it was hitting before. I was attacking a tower and then TP out back to base. My Oak immediatly started running back to that tower to hit it again (strange) !!! Another thing th
I'm assuming they'll make that selection screen larger. I think the reason it's not is because it has to fit 800x600 or 1024x768.
I'll wait till you take that back.
I scrolled and those guys were there. Use the wheel. What I'd wanna know is where all of my old achievements went from when I first played the game.
