Lets look at the three strategies that qualify as a 0T ier rush. They build just scouts, LFs will kill them They build just LFs, LRM will kill them They build a mixture, LFs will kill them See, all these strategies have an easy counter. Even if you're Advent and will find it hard to get your LRM, you can just fight Rock with Rock and build LF to counter LF (hint, Disciples are the best LF anyway) Now, look at those counters I suggested. If your enemy is
Gruzuius
I've always called my army Groove Armada.
I usually name mine crude words, mostly after genitalia. Well what does the the Radiance look like to you! [e digicons][/e]
Also it's never fun to have your ships eaten by the Egg. With focus fire -6 armour it's incredible, and the damage goes straight to the hull. Also Advent shenanigans with their abilities make the game easy for a clever player. Imagine: Radiance Battleship- Animosity (sucks in all enemy fire) Rapture Battlecruiser- Vengeance (enemy damage to said Radiance is reflected) Progenitor Mothership-Malice (reflected damage is multiplied) + Shield Restore (Radiance does not die)
It's also worth noting that the Akkan is a worthless pile of rubbish so build a Marza/Kol if you are TEC. Ion Bolt is a joke compared to say, Reverie, and a small range boost isn't going to help if I move my fleet a little closer... Also as has been mentioned, you can send your Mothership/Egg to a Desert or Gaia planet and a small strike team to an Asteroid, the only danger is if the Siege is left to kill your new planet, but that's easy to kill with two light frigates.
