Ok, SO, this is what happened. I was playing a random medium map as my beloved Advent Loyalist faction, when I ended up having to go. I went to save the game and noticed I could 'Cloud' save it, or what have you. I did so just to see how it worked, and well later that day I came back to play and I tried loading said game. I got a mini dump, so I just decided to make a new game. I was very unhappy to discover that I could no longer choose the Advent to play. I uninstalled and reinstall

I personally think that the Advent, (me being a big Advent player), Loyalists may have increased culture and increased in-culture buffs and shields or crystal production, (considering the Advent eat crystal quicker than an entire map can make it), or cheaper and/or faster research, (probably not faster considering they already have knowledge aggregation). The rebels may have better beam weapons, or strike craft, (ahh, the oh so shiny Advent strike craft). Maybe actual refineries, instead
