I know, I'm just trying to stay in the loop. (For the record, Yarlen's one of the best CM's I've seen in action.) I'm sure the folks at Ironclad are busy with their new MOBA, I'm just hoping for some news, even if it's "we're up to our ears in work for Sins of a Dark Age right now, but we're keeping it in mind". On the plus side news-wise, not only is Steam having a Stardock sale, Freespace 2 gets a Steam release today.&nb

Not trying to be a pest, but will the code fixes that were supposed to be part of this patch be part of the next big release, or will they be released in the meantime? Just asking because I've all but given up playing until I have the option to disable that darned AI surrender (I hate it when the computer takes it's ball and goes home before anything meaningful happens in-game because it thinks it can't win if I expand too fast. You have to do well but not <em
So, did the code fixes get dropped or are they still a work in progress? (Still waiting on that "Disable AI surrender" option...)
Is there any news on the coding fixes, as far as how far along they are, I mean? It would be awesome to have the full release of the patch within a week or two of the final balance update. Have they been started, or do the folks at Ironclad still have their hands full with Sins of a Dark Age?
Where's the option to disable AI surrender? Blair Fraser mentioned adding it in the next patch, does this mean it's not forthcoming? [e digicons]X([/e] https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/448797/page/1/#3415301
Oh, awesome . That's so good to hear, big-time thank you to the folks at Ironclad! Now to wait. Wait and drool... [e digicons][/e] Or, maybe check out the new DLC. That works too!
It cuts off achievements, too, don't forget. Kind of hard to get a forty planet empire going or kill 1k pirates before the AI quits in a huff, lol. Small complaint, yes, and not very important, but still valid. [e digicons][/e]
Hey, everybody. I posted this in the wrong section of the forums (General), so I'll try posting it in the section I meant to this time, and hopefully get some feedback. From the original post: Hey there, hope everyone's doing all right. I was wondering if anyone else would like to see an option on the menu to disable AI surrender in a Sins Rebellion game. I've posted about this once or twice, but I'm saying
Hey there, hope everyone's doing all right. I was wondering if anyone else would like to see an option on the menu to disable AI surrender in a Sins Rebellion game. I've posted about this once or twice, but I'm saying it here so it doesn't clog up other threads and get buried: it would be nice to have the option to fight the comp to the bitter end when you wanted to. I know, I know, "you can just hit 'Keep Playing'", but that's not what I'm ta
Nice to see ongoing support for the game, and the changes look good. The nerfs on the pirates hopefully means fewer instances of pirates just roflstomping interstellar empires for 250 credits at a time. On the other hand, as a wishlist sort of thing, I'd like to see a toggle in the win conditions for turning off AI surrender in a future patch. Sometimes it's nice to have the AI throw in the towel, but I've had nearly all my Rebellion games
An option to disable surrender would be much appreciated. It is *highly* annoying to have the AI just wave the white flag when it's finally at a disadvantage after roflstomping you for most of the game. When it's two humans vs AI, I can see the surrender being handy (Real Life tends to throw complications at you that make a long game untenable). But when I'm playing against a hard AI in a single-player match, I *want* that purge, the satisfaction of the AI scramb
