lock the dock maybe?
First thing I tried. That prevents the stuff in the dock from being removed, but the icons still jiggle around to get out of the way if I attempt to plop anything onto any of them.

Just installed 2.0 and immediately noticed that I can no longer drag & drop datafiles onto my program shortcuts in the dock? in the "old" version the datafile would be opened by whatever program i dropped it onto, but now the same icon is doing everything it can to avoid me doing so, "cleverly" dodging out of the way as I try. :-) The mind boggles, please tell me I'm doing something wrong?
Famous last words. After a 24-hour hiatus, the uninstallable update is back. Impulse tells me that Bootskin Vista (not free this time) version 1.02.052 is available, and that my current version is 1.02.011. Update not possible due to my registration for this product not being valid.
Well, what do you know? Just tried again for God knows which time - but now it actually installed (the free version) WITHOUT telling me that there was an update available. Go figure. Sorry about the disturbance, I shall refrain from complaining anymore about this issue [e digicons]:D[/e]
I'm having the exact same issue. There seems to be two different versions available, a free one which I cannot update, and another one (not free?) that is not available anywhere on Impulse. All very strange.
It worked like a charm, thanks a lot for the help!
So if I just ZIP the entire folder and check the registry for "stuff", there is a chance it will work? Thanks for the quick reply btw! [e digicons]:)[/e]
After reading God knows how many positive reviews, rants about this game being DRM-free and so forth, i finally forked out my hard earned cash and bought the game online. The thing is - I want to play this on my laptop which does not, and never will have, an internet connection for reasons too lengthy to go into here. How do I go about achieving that? I found an "Archive" option in Impulse, but am very much unsure exactly what that does and how I may be able to use it. An
