All I gotta say is: LAUNCH FIGHTERS.

Hey guys, notice you can't upload avatar pictures? Seems its bugged to flash 10, but I have found a work around. If you have flash 10 installed just download this: http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/updaters/9/flashplayer_9_plugin_debug.exe Its a flash 9 debugger, I did not have to uninstall flash 10 to do this, I just closed my browser after it inst
vasari... but takes for ev er and ever.
robotic repairs and carrier spam, LRM's bite my butt too.
I like the Sova embargo trick, pretty nice when getting beat up on two sides, once you get one down just drain the $$$ of each planet, boosting your cash flow to help defending on the other side

It would be nice to have the option to make a capital ship 2x the size and power (only one per entire fleet) at of course, 4x the cost to offset the advantage. Also slower speed, turning and moving as well, add more cooldown time for the weapons, but increase the antimatter size. Would be neat!
What temp program do you use to show your tempratures? I'd like to give it a test to see if speedfan really still does this. I use ATITool (despite the name, it can be used with either brand). The temperatures it reports are consistent with those given in nTune.
Ah, well I just uninstalled it... speedfan was reading the same temps, so it seems the temps are fixed. Not s
Do you use a utility to tell your temps? Yes, I ran a number of tests (including looping Crysis timedemos) when I built this machine and did the burn-in. My EVGA 8800GT idles around 54C (25C room temp). With default fan settings it levels off around 72C at full load. With the fan fixed at 50% it drops to ~64C, which is plenty cool enough. This is in a Lian-Li B25 (aluminum) with two 120mm intakes, and a 120mm exhaust directly be
I would GREATLY suggest buying an after market cooler for your GPU's, mine was hitting 90c full load Not actually that necessary, just grab the control utility from nVidia and turn up the fan speed (removing factory sinks is certainly something not to be advised for the average user). They default them to 25% on the 8800s to keep them quiet, but I've had no issues with temperature on mine after turning it up to 40-50%. [/quo
I would like to know since I am buying a new computer and I mainly play Sins so I want to know if SLI is worth it a long with Dual Core. Here are the specs of the new computer: OS: Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit PSU: Corsair HX520W (520 Watt) CPU: E8400 Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0ghz GPU: Dual Nvidia 512mb 9800GT's (EVGA SuperClocked) RAM: Corsair XMS2 4GB (2x2GB) MOBO: Nvida Nforce 680i SLI (EVGA) HD: Western Digital 250GB
Thats a shame they don't allow transfering of registration numbers, but I suppose its smart marketing, since new users will ultimately have to purchase the entire game brand new to play it online. This effectivly kills the used market for these games, something these companies have been fighting to get rid of for a long time... I know ebgames and gamestop used games sales account for a massive amount of lost sales for the company producing the game itself. I'll
Yarr, but that says physical. As in, you can re-sell the disk and the game will work - which does hold true for Sins. But, they still don't transfer registrations between accounts, that has been argued and debated on the forums on several occasions Still, support will get back to you one way or the other!
Oh I see what you are saying, so I'm SOL and will have to purchase a new licence in order to pl
updated the link with another, sorry.
Thanks for the email, I just sent them one. And here is the link for the bill of rights update: https://www.stardock.com/about/newsitem.asp?id=1123 and http://www.gamasutra.com/php-bin/news_index.php?story=20666
I looked at the FAQ.. looked for a "contact us" section on the main page but found nothing, searched for "transfer" and "ownership" in the forums found nothing, and checked all the stickies I could, including the gamers bill of rights, so before you spam me with "USE THE SEARCH BAR YOU JERK!" messages I've tried to look best as I can! I even used GOOGLE to look for it! I have a friend who has moved onto new games and is giving me this one next time I see him, and I keep seeing
Good insurance if you have pirates on the way, adds a bit of chance they'll hit that instead of one of your productive worlds, and the off chance they have an artifact on them.
Some good stuff. Although the whole vasari thing reminds me of Star Control, and most recently Mass Effect, I won't ruin it for anyone but I thought they had great stories. Personally, I like it better having something "unknown".. maybe they'll introduce a single player storymode, that would be neat.
