I'm currently in this boat as well. I've had the original sins since it came out, and entrenchment. Had a major crash with computer (Lost EVERYTHING) and reinstalled the game. Can't update the base game. Finally got entrenchment installed. Had the SDActivate.exe problem... navigated to the root folder for the game, found Activate.exe, copied the file, pasted it right into the same place, then renamed the copy SDActivate.exe.... it worked like a charm. Hope at least that part helps
