After playing a while i finally built a colonial envoy (yeah... i don't care much for diplomatic resolutions) anyways i noticed that the model is really good,however the colonial one; is small compared to everything else. I know in the tv series the colonial one landed in one of the galacticas runway wings... but a single viper fighter should not be 2/3rds the size of the entire ship. I know this is kind of a side note but, is it possible to make a frigate or a capital ship act as a mobile frigate or capital ship factory? Reason i ask is because i'd like to see (or make myself if need be) the colonials become more of a mobile faction as opposed to a traditional planet faction. I remember reading something about the vasari faction in rebellion being able to do something like this, i'm just curious if its something

the two ships you've posted look similar just the first one - the eternal vigillance - has a indent on the ships nose where the andromeda - the second pic you posted - doesn't.

yea the image you posted earlier was grantyes' ( or someones model given to him) model of the eternal vigillance class. but by the looks of it, it hasn't been textured. the image you just posted just now is the andromeda in game. the image i posted is just a image off of a wiki site

ramming speed lol.. perhaps a toggle button ability for it so you can either allow it to ram ships or not to ram ships that way you can control its actions more and its navigational behaviors.

my point precisely... I don't think it would be that difficult to code either, I think the hardest part would be allowing several players to co-exist in the same gravity well. as it currently stands you can make a starbase in an enemy sector and upgrade it to build ships so i'm sure the same could be done here.

My idea could go for the capitalship factories aswell, and by doing so just enters a whole new game dynamic, instead of simply destorying everything in site the player could move more strategically to capture the sectors and its contents saving the player lots of resources in the process. Afterall its a pirates goal to take her a prize.

To DEVS or whomever can make it so: Is it possible to have the Titans ram smaller ships as another ability perhaps? For instance if your titan is running up against a large spammed fleet of kodiak cruisers or vasari enforcers etc. instead of making the long tedious 360 degree turn to leave the gravity well, is it possible to make the titan plow through the smaller ships essentially cutting its own path of destruction to get where it needs to go.

My idea wasn't to nessasarily enable the player to be able to build the other races ships; but to use the captured factories to build your own ships. My main point was that if you could capture and use factories in enemy sectors it would make the whole battle over a sector more interesting and possibly turn the tide of war in your favor or against you if the AI or opponet could do the same. While I am enjoying the 1st beta of rebellion, I already have noticed a problem which could turn into a beneficial game element if the DEVs can change/ edit this. While playing as the TEC Loyalists my new capitalship boarded/ captured a frigate factory in an enemy sector. while playing as both the loyalists and the rebels i've noticed that after you purchase your titan the capital ship crew slot is off by one. By the looks of it, the titan is supposed to take two capital ship crews but after building the titan, when you start researching the next capital ship slot you can begin building another capital ship. you can then cancel the research and continue building the capital ship and upon completion your available capital ship
