I recently bought sins also and impulse has worked perfectly. At first I was worried about Impulse because I didn't think it was gonna be as good or stable as STEAM. But I have been very impressed with Impulse and my hats off to Stardock. It is smooth, streamlined, and fast. To be honest all these whiners about having to install IE7/.NET need to get a clue. Thanks all for the tips. I started another game and am doing a little better. In the game options I have it set to easy random and the first game I must have gotten easy aggressor because this time the AI is not aggressive. However they do love to try and put a bounty on me. So I keep paying just enough credits so the pirates attack the AI. I have my cap ship, one missle frigate, and 5-6 basic combat frigates. I decided to choose TEC this time.
