I tried but still... Moving a slider made all my planets go around the star in a circle...Could not get them to move back. Was really lame

In the ingame map maker how do you make the travel time for phase lanes shorter? I am trying to make some maps but ships take 10mins to go to one planet at normal speed. I have no idea what slider changes that and could not find what I needed in the guide. Sorry if its a stupid question

Is there a place one can go to download any of the maps from this mod? I found the one thread but it did not have nearly as many of the maps I was hoping for. The maps are awesome and I enjoyed this mod but it just caused massive lag. want the maps without the lag..=/

Are there plans for any really huge maps like what harpo says he has? That sounds like a map I would like to play on, but alas...I cannot find any

I downloaded that mappack and it gave me like 4 of every map...But I really want some from the site but none of those work...Ugh

I am sorry if this is the wrong forum but I am having the worst trouble ever trying to download some custom maps. I have tried many different ones from https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?libid=70&sort=dltoday but I cannot find the right path for them.The only one that has worked was the Milkey way galaxy (https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=208&libid=70) But I have no clue where I extracted it to that made it work. I have tried everything... =/</

Hey..Is there a resource mod that increases the rate at which you get resources but that does not lag the game too much? I had Distant suns and that was fine but the game became unplayable a few hours in. Any help would be nice

Well craptastic Is it because I use the distant suns mod? When the game gets to the point where every side has big fleets and developed planets it can take forever for a fleet of mine to make it out of a GW of a gas giant. Like 5 mins. The more I zoom out the slower it is. When the game gets to like the 8 hour point it can take one fleet a very long time to make one jump. THe icons zip accross the screen

I just need some help..I love this game but it gets so unplayable in the latter stages. I play with all the settings turned down to low and the empire tree is off. I don't use mines but this game...It gets so laggy it takes like 10mins to get to another planet What can be done?

why did that store buy your CD anyway? No store in my area will buy back opened PC games. Hell some wont even buy back 360 games. Stardock does not have an obligation to remove that key from your email. It isn't illegal for them to do that. I..I just can't believe that a store bought a used game that has a Key..wow

I usually just build one of each on the first 8 planets I take. But I also play on the DS mod so sometimes those planets have more slots of them in that case I build 2

you can uninstall the game and if you have the disc you can reinstall it at the orginal patch.

In SP you can get some really fun games going, I would reccomend downloading the Distant Suns mod and then going to town. If you love the big battles late game you can start it off and build up your defenses then save exit and reload with harder AI. Gets a little laggy but is loads of fun =P

As a person who has never played this awesome game online I think my hopes kinda went down... It kinda sounds like I will just be kicked and from what I did read on the first page it sounds like I would want to stay away from any brothers in arms

I played a game with 9 unfair Ai's on the DS map..um.. kingdom in heaven Got down to me and one AI we both had wiped out all the others... we started killing each other my fleet was at his planets and his fleet was smashing through my defenses at my planets... It was a war that neither of us would win lol... I got his last planet but without any ship that could colonize it... So I went back to my home and won with just 1 planet left =P &nb

i know that length good... I was playing with the DS mod on one of their maps... and for some reason if a scout or a colony frig or a starbase ship flew to my cap planet or this one volcano planet... they would come out of hyper half way through the phase jump and be forced to fly the rest of the way... Needless to say i was not pleased when I found out my fighters would go after enemies for that whole trip. <
