hey goa....I know now what I did wrong.....There are 2 galaxy forge folders, one in the steam apps version of the game, the other in my docs....and I saved my maps tp the steam version=p

yeah Goa, I agree=] perhaps limiting nano leech to hull restoration, without nerfing the damage rates and removing atm regen could work, since the titan's abilities would still drain atm from enemies and itself over time.....but what do you guys think of my other suggestions too, like limiting the max regen rates?

i see, well put there=p tho as another suggestion, limiting the jumping orkies to 4 or 5 max could help, as well as with every phase jump, take 30% of stats away....or, to eliminate the whole problem, simply prevent orkies from jumping into hostile wells, since the VR are the 'diplomatic and defense' vasari race, to me would stop the whole mp balance issue without making many changes to the game's current setup=]

well, that is a good point on the feeding part....but having no max limit to regen is a big issue to me....but yeah, you're right on that=p...but I am also concerned about how the AI would handle it, since they only retreat when odds arn't in their favor, and the VR overwhelms other AIs in every single-player game I've played... but what I am saying is if fleet supply is consumed by one faction's starbase, then how would it be fair to the rebels if only their starbase

Sins Rebellion is a good game, but there are a few things that just seem to not really fit. yeah...i try not to mess with the race templates, but instead remember what AI player should be which race....like volcanic home-worlds are Vasari and stuffs=p Anyways, if you guys don't mind me asking, has anyone made a map with the new forge that shows up and works in-game? I found something interesting included within the files for rebellion...a brand new galaxy forge!=p I was kinda sad when i tried to import my maps into rebellion....it didnt work=[ Anyway, for those wanting to open it, do the following (on vista 32 bit).... 1 click start, go to computer 2 go into drive rebellion is on...then program files=p 3 find steam folder, then go to SteamApps 4 enter common folder, then rebellion folder... 5 next, click on galaxy

Thanks Goa=]...but I kinda wonder how the black could be triggered in that way....almost through a ghost patch conflict of some sort to cancel the new patch....well, guess it's back to comp-stomping tec some more=] but is there any way to force a steam update when a new version comes out but steam won't auto-download it? to get to .61 I had to uninstall and reinstall rebellion....

ok...here's the deal. Recently, the Advent patch for Rebellion was released, steam downloaded, and all was well and good....The first time. The second time I started the game, the intro movie lagged, then the third was the infamous black screen (sins launched, but a few seconds of the screen turning black the sins cursor popped up and the game mini-dumped ever since=[; tho all settings were set to medium after first launch. yeah, i think so too Ice=] I was merely guessing a general timeline and not an exact one........ tho im sure there will be .62s and .75s....only in general terms, and from the looks of it, the people want advent at the .7 mark instead of vasari=p Mastermidge...I was thinking the same thing=p tho i dont know where any would be at the moment....=[...if you find one, let us know=]

well....we got the files for all the races with the beta download....oh well [e digicons]:rofl:[/e] but i do think vasari having tec and advent effects is suspicious tho....since the advent, although not released yet, still retain their correct weapon effects.... I think I forgot something important related to the vasari tho....like when they are playable with some modding....why would the effects be purposely wrong? (like Yottsu said in reply 5)....i remember something about a 'hint' from the devs about something chasing the vasari in another post.....perhaps the vasari are more done in actuality than we know?=p But I do agree with the wave effect looking not so great....the trinity one was fine, but nothing that some time and effort

that does sound interesting=] I havent modded any files in the beta...yet=p but how are the advent voices and effects looking at this point for those that have played as them? I know that Stardock is working on others things too....like Elemental: Fallen Enchantress... but any guesses as to when the advent will be added? (I didnt know vasari were that unpolished...I only went by what was already in the stock playable beta=p)

not just kodiaks....in one game, 2 kol battleships disappeared=p it's a beta tho, and i hope stardock can fix that cap jump issue....but also the cpu tends to just park their titans where they were built...have you had any titan issues too? so far, only in one game has a cpu titan moved...while my lvl7 rebel titan crushed it (comp was lvl1), on viscous difficulty all 9 cpus

The AI, on higher levels, cheats a certain way. They neither train nor 'fight' to level up their caps. Instead, the AI auto-levels, similar to the tier 8 advent research 'mass transcendence'. Not only this, the AI also gets a xp boost in combat. For instance, a Kodiak cruiser is normally 100. To a comp, it might be 150, but the game wont let the player know the actual xp value (mine is just a guess) since only player values for xp are all that is shown.
