No, this is out of the box and trying to play for the first time. I will try reinstalling.

Seem to have a variation of a common problem with this game. I get the load screens but three quarters through the load or right after the new screen appears there is a freeze, an error message is heard and when I ctrl-alt-delete to the Task Manager I see there is a minidump. All drivers are current. Can't figure this one out. Any ideas?

As soon as I run the game the screen goes black and a error window sound is heard.

Having the same problem. I get the opening screens but as soon as I start a game, it freezes, a error sound is heard and the minidump. I've got a DELL XPS 710 with a 8800 GTX. Running Vista.
