Hmm... Hows about a STORYLINE for singleplayer! in Demigod Ideas Demigod Forums

I just went n' got this game earlier today, and I really enjoy it! But... with how the hype built this game up to be rpg/strategy, i was really dissapointed that there was practically no storyline to draw the player into the game more and connect with his/her demigod. Yeah, i get that the progenitor was ousted and theres a new job opening that everyones tryin' to get, but what are the personal motivations of the demigods to want to battle it out with each other?
