I was playing againts a few hard AIs, and after destroying it's capital planet (capital victory etc) the red ai was destroyed. BUT. He was a loyalist advent that discovered the planet culture generation, and i was tec so I could not capture any of his planets even after destroying them, cause even when not owned they still generated 10 culture, and i was separated from him by plasma storms, so most of my broadcast towers were usseles.
