Agreed. As long as it doesn't raise system requirements to the skies, some 'real' environments would be cool. Clean spirit worlds are nice in their own way, but I can imagine Rook towering above trees, and it looks just great :) Maps could also be more complex. Places to hide form line of sight would be nice. I assume the game engine wouldn't have any problems with them?
The point was: Just because you lag doesnt mean it's a problem everyone is having.
Ye, I got it the first time. It's like Kryopsis said, it's the custom gamelist that's lagging at least for me, and I've heard many others having the same problem. Originally I imagined that the game just works that way for everybody, when the list updates the game just freezes for 30s or so. There have been weirder glitches. I admit I was assumin

Which is why you don't go wandering alone, there's a Beast lurking outside. For most part of the games, if you're close enough to towers, you're relatively safe even is UB is faster than you. And mostly every demigod has answers to UB harassing. Oak has shield, and his passive skill helps recover from spit too. Erebus.. well, really, Erebus can run away from anything. But mistform negates spit easily. Queen's shield negates spit. Rook may have some trou

Teseer, thanks for straightening that up. I really thought it happens for all, but that's just my statistics then. 100% of people who complain about laggy game list actually have.. laggy game list! :D Anyway, it's happening a lot. Sheetone, this is being said all over these forums, and it's somewhat true: multiplayer game releases tend to have problems, and they're usually fixed during first few weeks. It's not like you're only playing for serial, the game itself is good, the

With right build, buying only mana regen items could work for early game too. Erebus isn't exactly easy to kill, and minion build should give some control. It really depends how much gold is the minimum needed for at least practically infinite mistform if this has any use. But this seems just so fun I have to try this some time :D

I think everybody has that delay when the game list is updating. It's really annoying, but hopefully it will be fixed sometime soon. I don't think it has anything to do with computer being good or not, it's just the game. I find playing the game windowed helps, at least I can spend time reading these forums while the game is frozen.. Just have some patience. Also, playing Demigod via Hamachi or Gameranger eliminates this problem.

I disagree too. It's not like being restricted to one side for about a week is a big deal, that's still half of the demigods. And there's still skirmish and custom games for unrestricted play. And at least with the state of Pantheon now, with random teams, balance isn't really an issue. People can't intentionally make great teams of demigods that support each other, and every demigod is about balanced. Insert some weird comparison to a totally different game and situation here

It's a very good item for some builds, but not that op as it is. There are many other items that are so good for their prize that they benefit basically anybody. Mostly the first tier flat regen items though. It really depends on build and playstyle whether Heart of Life is useful or not. It's great for spamming skills, but many builds do fine with just a regen helm at half the price. And Heart of Life is generally speaking no good during combat (Oak excluded?).

Where exactly does DG need more skill? Is it skill to learn every recipe and price? In a way I'd like to see recipes, they added some nice options, but from playing DotA in lans and such I know they really confuse newcomers, as HaunterV said. Also, what would make creeping need more skill? If you're aiming for last hitting here, that was one of the really annoying things in DotA. Also no need for cool inventory, it just needs to be functional. And manual even says this is a spirit wor
Creeps are simply xp food for the enemy if you upgrade them, while they SHOULD be a strategic asset. Of course those giants and catapults are nice, but the damage boost from artifacts are so much better to get at first. Anyway, I think that the conquest game mode is simply badly designed as it always ends up becoming a race to get the artifacts.
At least in the last few games I've played, game has pretty much ended before

Great tips all, something like this should be included in the digitally downloaded version for people to read :) Agent of Kharma, it's about timing. If you run all the time, you miss experience and gold, which will make you easy target later. Especially when using teleport scrolls constantly, while they're usually better option than potions, they cost gold too. Also, teleporting away is risky, many DGs can just interrupt it and kill you anyway. Or simply kill you while you're teleport

I haven't yet played every DG in multiplayer yet, but like many in this thread, I too think there's no weakest or strongest DG. I'm actually pretty amazed how balanced they are, and still have different playstyles. This could chance as people learn teh best skills and builds for DGs and generally play more. At first some DGs felt underpowered when playing against them, but later getting totally owned by them kinda chanced my opionion. And at first Rook felt OP. Then Rook seemed like o

Agree with OP too. At first the favor points/favor items thing felt cool, I like some persistent customization too. But even if the favor wasn't bugged (seems to be working now, though..), atm it's just about grinding. And the 15% movement speed is too much of a no-brainer for many demigods and builds. I just feel a bit cheap, when playing against people who don't yet have any favor items, perhaps due to bugged favor points or them not having playet much online. 15% movement speed mak

Like Kitkun said. Rook is big, like, Big, it makes sense smaller things just get lost in it's shadow. Just played my first few games with Rook, and it was a powertrip. I didn't get as many kills as with Regulus or such, but just.. creeps get lost beneath Rook, they just die without Rook even noticing. I even accidentally killed a player with Hammer Slam, didn't even notice he was there (there were giants and such around). I didn't really have any big problem with Rook's size though. I

Have to say flag locks too. Just played a few games where they were pretty great. Lategame, when you need that extra push for victory, it's just so useful to be able to lock a portal flag and go cap another. Those scrying things can be useful too. They help defend important flags, and can help against Regulus' mines. They're so cheap that there's no reason not to grab some if your consumables aren't full. Imo potions aren't necessary, but they can be great. I tend to keep one

It depends how the game is going. I like plaing QoT with minions, but I won't usually get the idols until later. But if I need to quickly power up, I'll the best possible idols I can afford, preferably one of each. Good clerics are the most important. It depends on your build ofc, but if you get the class spesific minions and buff them up, you're pretty well set. At some point though, getting all the minions is well worth it, if you're also getting items and skills to boost them. The more, th

I've used the buy/resell trick every now and then. Just at the beginning, to get those two clerics. It works pretty well, but as I've only tried it on QoT, can't really say how good it can be. I'm mostly sitting at full health anyway. But when health does drop, having those clerics nearby is hand. The problem is, when the clerics die, they're gone. Usually they last long enough that I can afford to buy idol for real. When I see generals with minions on the first few levels, I usually

Buying cleric idol asap helps. Or just buying idol, summoning and selling it away. Clerics, when kept alive, can help you stay on the front longer. Clerics can also be used to harass UB along with your spirits, if used carefully. Most probably UB won't have much mana for his Spit early game, so with just clerics and maybe shield and some health regen item you should be able to outlast him.

Ya, Regulus isn't that op.. probably. Really good, though, but mostly any DG can be. Anyway, Regulus doesn't even leech life, unless he gets a item for that. So, any DG can leech life, if they want. I haven't had any problems with snipe, either. Imo it's just a cool feature that Regulus can snipe after porting. I mean, he doesn't stun, and many DGs can just interrupt port and kill.
