Speaking of which, what is the ETA on these coupons now? I imagine stardock (save for the proxies) have most of their proposed MP fixes in and I would like to get a friend in before the steam dies down even more.

It doesn't seem to have hurt Erebus too bad, but his early game is alittle less stronger because of it. Once you get a good helmet or two and get bite to rank 2-3, it becomes viable again, but the rank 1 bite really aint phasing much of anyone anymore, even at level 1. He is still fine mid game, just curbed a pinch of his spike dps.
21. Allow us to see enemy Demigod's Mana.
I think this is a bit much. I can't tell you how many oaks and my erebus were toe 2 toeing it for a early game flag and i used my last bite on him and we both stand toe 2 toe swampping hits, both of us low on life. The oak will flee, thinking I have a bite ready when the truth is I am as dead as a door nail if he mans up and decides to risk it and stay. Theres alittle bluffing element in there because if I was sma
The nerf hasn't been implemented yet as far as I know. Erebus is still the same. Also, the light side one the first tournament and from what I gather, they typically have the better players. If you think the darkside players dropped out in the pantheon before the nerf even happened, then your nuts. People will see that despite the Erebus nerf, better players will beat lesser players. For instance, my slightly above average Erebus was lost 3 panthe
This is a legit tactic and has never been considered a cheat as far as I know. Its designed on some maps to take an enemies portal to apply pressure if they have the center parts locked down. The only thing related to this that would be an issue is if methods used to get behind the enemy lines were cheats or exploits, such as a level 2 character managing to get past an entire tower lien up via some loop hole. Otherwise, its not an issue.
I don't think you'll ever see a Erebus build that doesn't include bite unless he is given a new dps/instant damage ability to replace it. Imagine not taking bite...what are you going to do? Auto attack and bat swarm escapes? Kill players with mist? A erebus without bite may as well just go on mine patrol and farm for citadel upgrades because I honestly cant think of anything meaningful he would bring to a demigod battle that any other general wouldnt bring. This is the fault of how th
No other attack can do an effective 1800 damage in an instant on a 7 second cooldown. Combine that with erebus' already powerful mobility and durability due to his other abilties, and you got a demi-god that has a little too much .
How does bite do an effective 1800 damage? Are you factoring in a max level batswarm into that? Serious question, I just wonder why you always say 1800 (two bites?).

Well even so let's see if this actually get's answered. I think it has become clear that the vast majority of people (people are unclear from both sides of the fence apparently) are wondering/guessing just how GPG/SD decided to nerf bite? I ask because diminishing the quality
erebus having low survivability in low levels ... sure yah right. He has movement speed 6.3, can heal himself and slow his enemy at the same time. I'm not saying he is good or bad in the bigger picture but he definitely has great survivability from level 1 on.
Obviously bite grants him survivability but on a pure "take damage" scale, Erebus drops very fast from focus fire in the early game. Only thing is any decent
You can also win 5 vs 1 if the five players are utterly clueless and you have a planned locked and stocked. The point is, its all variable when dealing with players. Best I have managed was beating 2 players when my human partner dropped about 7 minutes into the game. The initial lead we had gave me enough to edge to overcome them but they were on a swift comeback because they weren't brain dead and quickly started farming my AI partner. Nice work

While I certainly wouldn't assume they did it purely because of the outcry, I believe it had a large part of doing it so soon. Face it, the game has been getting reamed by its players/customers for its crap online performance. The publisher/devs have been trying to deliver promise after promise on why and how they will fix the system in place and yet patches continue to break stuff as they fix it and baisc match making functionality is shoddy at best. I would not be surprised that the

(sedna = heal, QoT = shield, UB = spit, rook = towers) That's not erebus exclusive but simply erebus had the best move to be based around. You have to admit an effective 1800 damage PLUS slow PLUS extra damage from reduced armour PLUS it being the most mana effcient move in the game, was a little much. You sai
The change is a bit much, but since the fixes to Erebus came at the last minute of beta, its logical he is a victim of bad balancing already. I admit I am a Erebus player, but I have been drawn to playign him since day one for his lore/apperance more than his playstyle. At times, I can kind of see how he can be alot to deal with. A good Erebus with a decent mana pool with Bat swarm + bite can deliver more damage than players expect and often cripp
